Monica--Angel Report

Hey all! I just got off the phone with Monica.  She sounds GREAT! She says that she is in a lot of pain, but has her button handy.  She has 2 drains and has not been able to get out of bed for her first walk yet.  The nurses did have her get up to the edge of the bed, and I am sure she will be moving soon. The doctor says that she will probably get to go home on Thursday morning. She thanks you all for the well wishes, support and prayers.

Hey kids, I went to visit with Monica after work today.  She is in good spirits, had been up out of bed a few times to walk and also sat in a chair by her bed. She is getting some ice chips to alleviate the dryness in her mouth. Mike and 2 of her boys were there today for several hours. The nurses spoiled them rotten with jello and treats. Monica of course had to suffer through watching them with the jello.  Tomorrow she has her leak test and if everything goes well she will go home on Thursday. Chris

HIJACK - Ronna, how are things going with the new job? We all miss you here on the board. Dave is waiting patiently to hear some news on the job he interviewed for several times. He heard through the grapevine that he was going to be offered a man rep position. I think the new company is getting all their ducks in a row legally with drawing up the contract because they have never had man reps before. This is all something new to them. We just wish they would get back to him a little bit faster. CB
