Easter Sunday Roll Call

Hi Christine, I'm getting ready for work now....I'm hoping that the mild weather and spring break doesn't bring on too much craziness tonight.   I used to think that Sunday night was the slowest night of the week to work, not anymore!  Of course, I am just doing radio these days, but it gets pretty interesting.  Do you have a radio scanner by chance?  I wonder if you would be able to pick up my radio show from your place? We took our GD to a simalar place in Bloomington a while back, and even she said, "this is Not Egg Harbor Cafe. Monica, less then 24 hours now. Jw, you are only 24 hours behind her. Good luck to both of you. Christine and Dave, You always have plans for the days you are  off work. We will be having  dinner/brunch at Starved Rock Lodge today with the family. Starved  Rock Lode and State Park are in Utica, Il. Its 2 hours away from both the suburbs and  the Rockford area. It really is a beautiful place to hike and picnic.  Hugs all, Lisa

Happy Easter to my wonderful OH Family

Well I just drank my Easter breakfast about 1/2 hour ago and now I sit and wait...lol  Yes I drank my 10oz bottle of magnesium citrate.  It was grape flavored so it wasn't too bad.  Today is just clear liquids for me.  I am SOOO freaking excited about tomrorow ladies.  I can't believe the day is finally here.

Martha...size 6 and you didn't yell from the rooftops??  lol  congrats girl!

Well I am going to try and get all the laundry and cleaning I can get done today, so I leave my house clean and come home to it....well we'll see the kids are on break this week! LOL  My boys will be home this afternoon and my sis and neice are stopping by to visit for a bit.

Hi Monica...I am Glenda and I live in Elgin....You are exactly where I was 2 weeks ago. Dr Rantis did my surgery too and he is AWESOME!!! Are you having it at St Alexius or Alexian Brothers? I had mine at St Alexius cuz I work there.... I know it will go well and Hope you are up and about soon!

Hi Glenda,  It's so good to hear from people who have the same surgeon and have had great experiences.  I will be having surgery at St Alexius tomorrow.  I had my now 14 yr old there when it was still Hoffman Estates Medical Center...LOL   I had no problems with anyone there then either. 
what do you do at the hospital?

I am a nurse in PICU on the 4th floor. You will be on the 6th floor. I had a pretty good experience there but the hospital was really crowded and busy.  I am sure you will do great!!! I go back to work on Wednesday this week so if you are feeling like a visit just call 3921 from your phone and I will pop up.  Good Luck today! Glenda
