Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning IL - Whatcha got cookin today?  I started my work day at 4am this morning so I could get out early.  Amanda is flying in today and I just found out last night that my step-daughter from Indy along w/ her boyfriend and the two grandbabies will be here tomorrow thru Sunday.  Wow.. what a nice surprise.  I tell ya, God is good.   I sure am glad I did not buy the tickets for Wicked now that I'm going to have a house full.  It should be a great weekend even though snow is on its way.  That really stinks. So what does everyone have going on? Please keep Kim in your thoughts and prayers as she starts a new chapter.  She has fought so hard for her big day and it's finally here.  Congrats Kim! Christina, wow that is a fantastic surprise with the unexpected guests coming, especially those little cuties. Dave and I will go to church tonight. We have 3 Good Friday services with tonight being the first. In a short while here I will jump up  and start to get ready for work. After that I will then fix my breakfast and pull a Lean Cusine out of the freezer for lunch at work.  You all in Lincoln Log Land have a great day! Christine  &

Today is my official last day of work...forever with this company.  He's filing bankruptsy.  It's okay though, I think this will give me incentive to start applying at vet offices. 
The good things coming out of this are, I get to go through our inventory of clothes and take whatever I want...for free!!  woohoo  and it also means I can take my time healing after surgery. 

After work I will finish up some laundry and when Tyler and Jacob get home, take them to their dad's for the weekend.  Other than that, nothing going on...

Good morning Christina and the rest of Illinois! I have been mia for a few days. My husband finally got the cardiversion done and now has a normal heart rhythm! Yahoo! Hopefully it doesn't revert back to the old rhythm. He is now home and thrilled that no one woke him to take his vitals or for blood work. Christina-how awesome that you will be spending the week-end with the grandbabies! Little ones sure bring a lot of joy. Kim-my prayer for you is that you had an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery. Monica-Have fun shopping for free clothes! Sorry about the loss of your job though. Take advantage of not working to concentrate on you!   The sun is shining brightly...have a great day! 

Hi all.  Just loafing today.  Gonna go to the gym later with a friend.  Went out to Wally World for groceries and some new clothes.  I needed to get some smaller jeans and scrubs.  Checkin out the guys on the Single.com.  Might meet one next week Sat.  He lives the next town over and performs in the local theater. Don't know that it'll amount to much.  Still hung up on Jeff but got to get on with things.  Might be easier to get over Jeff if we weren't still trying to stay friends.  After all we have the same surgeon and go to the same support group and I really wish him no ill.  Just wish he'ld get his act together. Hi everyone! I know I have not posted alot lately, but I just can not seem to find enough time during the day.  I have started going into a panic mode, as my appt. with Dr. Kane is 4 weeks away as of today and I still have approx 15 lbs to lose to get to the goal weight that he set.  I am so afraid that I am not going to make it, and what he will say when I do not.  I know, I am being paranoid.  I have been trying to get into the habit of tracking my food intake, but it just is not happening.  My exercising time has been a hit or miss thing with all the stuff going on at work. Ok, enough of the whine and the pity party. Christina, have a good time with the family. Chris, I finally caught up on the dress story, I hope you will be able to use it for your pictures.  I think it is so romantic. Kim, My thoughts are with you and I am sliding over for you to take a place on the losers bench. Monica, How are things going with you?  Monday is your day. To anyone I missed, I hope that you have a wonderful holiday. Well all, I hope you haven't packed away your snow shovels just yet, as we are about to get more of the white death.  I wish spring would hurry up and get here.
