Thursday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois! I'm really surprised no one has posted roll call yet. I'm usually on here much later than the rest of you. We got a phone call from the hospital (for my husband), no beds available last night. So now we are waiting for another call this morning. Hopefully they will call soon.  Have a great day!

Well since I am off wor****il my boss calls and tells me what's going on, I am a free woman!!  lol 

Today I have to go to the bank and then I am going to get my hair trimmed, it's been a long time.  I have been letting it grow, it used to be SUPER short.  Then it will just be home and homework and getting some things ready for this weekend and the dog show at Arlington Racetrack.  If anyone has pets they would love the Pet Fair that is going on this weekend there....it's huge and a lot of freebies.  lol

It is so sunny and warm today--even with the snow on the ground it looks like spring! I almost left my coat in the car, but I will be here till about 8 and I might need it by then. After I finish work tonight I am going to a presentation/movie on the Tuskegee project that the students arranged for a (late) Black History month. I've always wanted to see this movie, so I brought my dinner, as well as my lunch and I plan to stay. Tomorrow night is the 50's prom thing, so you will be seeing pictures by the weekend!

Good agternoon Illinois friends! I went up to Madison today to have my iron checked and it turns out that I did not need an infusion.  It seems like my Ferretin is actually UP a bit, so he could not give me any iron.  That is a good news/bad news thing.  I am still low on iron, so I am FREEZING all of the time and a bit more tired than I should be.  Between that and the long drive, taking off of work and stuff, I was hoping to have one today, but oh well.  The good news is that maybe (just maybe......) the chewable iron that I found and was taking may be helping, so I am going to order more and take more to see if it really does bring the numbers up. While I was there, the doctor who is a hematologist/oncologist, always gives me a breif exam.   While I was laying there, I remembered that last time, he did a breast exam and there is this area in my left breast that I have been a little concerned about, so I had him take a look/feel.  He says that it is probably a cyst, but he can't tall me that for sure without a mamagram/ultrasound.  SOOOOO, I go back up on the 28th for that. I am the kind of person who tries not to worry until there is really something to worry about, so I am going to try to put it out of my mind until then.  I have found lumps before, and they keep telling me that I have "fibrous" breasts and that nothing is wrong.  I will continue to hope that this is more of the same......... It is good to hear that Kim got her date and she will be a loser in just one week! I hope everyone else is doing well today, but I really DO have to get back to work...........

Ok not much going on.  Last night was rough dropping my daughter off at my house with the soon to be ex-wife.  Her mother was really REALLY mean to me.  I am just so ready to be done with those two people. Well today, I just felt like doing nothing, and that is what I am doing.  I am still job hunting with very little success in that realm.  It is frustrating, but I will get though this.  I need to just get in to a good situation with people and job, I know it is just around the corner!  I can't wait to get to the corner :) Talk to you later my Illinois Ladies :)  Keep your chin up, as the sun is coming as well as the heat and baseball season :)

Well, I know it is late but I thought I should put my 2 cents worth in for today's roll call. Today was a busy day at work, between loading the budgets in the system, preparing for first quarter close, and a few other things. Then I got home and sat down and started on my homework. That is what I did today.
