A little worried....
Well I am a little worried now ladies. I found out today that I may not have a job anymore. The company that I work for is a super duper small company....it's just the owner and myself. We are doing so bad as far as jobs coming in that he's talking about having to file bankruptsy next week. He will let me know what's going on Sunday night. I have the next 2 days off.
Now I worry about having to find a new job while recovering from surgery. I hope that me being stressed out about this doesn't hamper my healing....
I just wanted to vent thanks!!

Monica, that news sucks bigtime. We have survived 2 company shutdowns, It sucks, but at least your DH is working. You just get your surgery and heal up before you start worrying about a job. That is your job. To get healed.
Go ahead and vent as much as you want to. We all understand the frustration of not knowing what is going to happen.

Monica, I'm sorry to hear about your job. This might be the best thing for you though in the long run. Just think with your new lifestyle, you're sure to ace the interview. It's important for you to focus on your surgery and recovery. I know what it's like, as I went through a situation for a few months not knowing if I had a job or not and it was around the Christmas holidays. Ugh!!
When I was 2 months pre-op, my hospital administration announced that the hospital was changing from a general acute care hospital to a long term acute care hospital. That meant loss of jobs. I didn't know if I was going to stay or let go. In the end, I had to let my entire staff go and had to tell them when I was on sick leave.
Vent all you want. That is why we are here, to support each other.
Hugs,
Lucy

Thanks Lucy! yes it does stink to not know from one day to the next if I still have a job or not. I am guessing not, but I am going to try not to worry about it right now. My son's birthday is on Monday and then I will be working on getting ready for the hospital and also getting that same son off to Washington DC....
