Sunday Roll Call

God morning Illinois! How odd that I am first on a Sunday morning!!!! I am just up having my firs****er of the day and thought I would check in. I wound up doing a bit of cleaning yesterday and after Liv delivered more Girl Scout cookies, we went into freeport for some groceries and a movie.   We saw "Fool's Gold".  I must be getting "old" as the movie was kind of cute and funny, but the language was unecessarily vulgar and the sexual content was also.  The rating was PG-13, but I was dismayed at the language and sexual situations that really had nothing to do with the story,  It would have been much cuter without all that.  Like I said.....old lady alert! We just hung around the house last night and I went to be early.  I don't really know what is on the agenda for today. Everyone have a warm and wonderful day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning back at you and to the rest of IL when they decide to wake up. I myself fell back asleep after I got up at 530; not like me. It must be the time change. Man it is dreary here and it looks like it will snow or rain. After I finally wake up I will get cracken and wrap the shower girfts I bought for the baby shower I am going to today. Afterwards it is back home to pick up the food for my brothers family and then take them over to the hospital to transfer to my SIL's car for her to take home. Go back up and visit with Jim and rest for a short while then I will crash back at home. Somewhere in there I need to wash my uniforms for work next week. Chris

It is snowing here!!!  Maddie and I are going to the hospital to see my dad.  He got transfered to St.Joes in Elgin for the acute rehab program.  Today they want the family to watch a movie on stroke patience and when we bring them home the challenges we will face.  The other day my dad and I shared some tears together.  I was getting him dressed and changing him diaper and he started to cry.  He said "I bet you never thought you would be changing your old mans diaper"  and then he thanked me.  I told him that he changed plenty of diapers in his days, and this is the least I could do for him. Well the only thing I need to get is the clearance from the lung doctor, then my paperwork gets transfered to Bettsie for a surgery date.  I will let everyone know when I get the date.   I hope everyone has a great Sunday and keep warm!

Good Morning to All,  I have been up, had breakfast, exercised, and put a roast in for dinner today. I need to fold laundry, get dressed, get things ready for work this week, and I am sure more stuff will pop up,  Last night we went to Bloomington to celebrate our SILs birthday. It was fun, even if a few of the guest couldn't come. He loves Star Wars, and received a few new things to add to his collection. Plus  other things. He was 43, works hard and at times (like a birthday party) is still a big lovable kid.  Just a normal week coming up. Nothing exciting.  Stay safe and warm today, THINK SPRING!!!  Daylight Savings  It's All Good Easter Basket

Been watching the snow. It looks like the snow in a globe--huge flakes, pretty! I love snow even more in March when I know it can't last.

Tonight going out to dinner tonight with some friends--that's about it for today. I love the slow pace of weekends--read, nap, knit. Even when I was young I still loved weekends like this.

Have a good day, friends!

Good morning, I mean afternoon Illinois! Great news, found out I will be grandma again come Halloween! This will be the fifth grandchild in 5 years!  My kids are like rabbits! As long as they are healthy, that is all that matters. Don't love one more than the other. Kids or grandchildren.  I'm just glad that I'm young enough to enjoy them.  Have a great day and I hope you all get good news of your own! Sending happy thoughts your way!

Good Afternoon my IL family!  I am late today!!  Mike actually let me sleep in this morning and I didn't wake up until almost 10:30am!  yikes, that's super late for me!  I guess all those little girls at my neice's party yesterday really wiped me out!  LOL  I have been just relaxing and doing laundry so far.

I think that after Tyler and Jacob get home this afternoon I might take Jacob over the new Super Wal Mart that just opened on Friday to see if we can find him some dress pants and shirts for his huge show next weekend at the Arlington Racetrack, Pet Fair!  First dog show this year and I want him to look sharp!  lol

I hope that everyone has a wonderful, warm and safe day!

Well, good afternoon IL..... I was up and moving around 8:30 this morning.  I cleaned the kitchen and had some yogurt for breakfast.  Then went and picked up my new eye glasses, and I have to wait for my new contacts to come in.  I then stopped and picked up dog food, and purchased a new mattress for Quentin's bed.  I came home did my home work and I am watching the race.

Good Afternoon Illinois!

Is it me or is the site running all the sentences together?

I just woke up!!!!!  I worked last night and the night before so I was (am) wiped out.  We are so busy at work I had hardly time to sit down in 12 hours.  I am going to straighten up around here and then get busy on dinner.  Pork chops, scalloped potatoes, asparagus and homeade applesauce.  I want to go to church at 5:30 so I need to get cracking now on everything else.  It seems my laundry likes to mate and multiply in the hampers. I am convinced of it b/c there always seems to be more of it everytime I look.    So Laundry is definitly on the agenda.

I have a fill tommorrow afternoon, and I am actually looking forward to it.  I need the restriction.  I also am glad to see my band as it is a year old this week and I want to make sure it is still intact!   I am terrified something will happen to it , and will have to be fixed or removed.  Paranoia .......

Have a good day!

Gina
