Hello, My Name is Erin. I had my lap band surgery Dec 13, 2008 in Moline, IL. I lost about 25 before surgery and I have lost about 45 since surgery. I recieved my 2nd this morning hoping for a stronger weight loss. I have started a gym membership to strengthen and tighten... Wish me luck on my last 90pds to go....

Hello Erin, Congrats on you lost, and wishing you well with the rest. I had RNY in Harvard IL Oct. 30.2007 and have lost 100 lbs since surgery nice to meet you.

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I think you are doing super. 45 pounds in a little less than 3 months is fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Remember, thats 45 pounds that is gone for good. Its not like diets in the past where we will gain it right back.

Lap Band on 03/02/07

Im surprised you even got a second fill this soon. If I lose 1 pound weekly or an an average of 1 pound my dr will not fill me. With 45 he would have removed some of my fill. He would have thought it was too much.
