I always see everyone talking about protein powder.  What is a good kind to use after RNY?  I know I used to use muscle milk when I was working out and it tastes soooooo yummy, but I'm just wondering what everyone else uses.  Also, seeking a liquid multivitamin....anyone know of a good one that I can get from either GNC or Vitaminworld?

I use body fortress from Walmart. It comes in Chocolate and Vanilla. So far, I've only tried the vanilla. If you want to try different kinds, you can get samples from vitalady.com

My nutritionist told me that regular muscle milk had too many calories, and to try the body fortress from wal-mart.  I took muscle milk for the first week I was allowed to and I didn't lose one pound.  I like the body fortress though.  She also told me that I can only take chewable complete vitamins, not the liquid.

My only suggestion is that you get a vitamin that is especially made for wls.  Remember, most lapbanders are fine with centrum, etc vitamins, however us RNYers need specific vitamins because of the mal absorption factor.

I have only heard of Optisource, Building Blocks, and Bariatric Advantage.  All of those are chewable.

I'm a big fan of Isopure. I get the low carb dutch chocolate and it is really yummy!  Also use the Optisource that I get at walgreens.
