It Works
We went to a wake last night, and afterward we stopped at a local place to eat. They have a buffet AND a menu. I opt for the buffet ( at $6.99) so I could get band friendly foods. But, before I ordered, I pulled my card our, you know the one that saids you have had wls, and handed it to the waitress. Then explained I can only eat 1 cup of food at the max, and would they be willing to charge me the kids price. They agreeded, so I got the buffet for $3.99. BTW, I had 2 peices of fish, minus the coating, 1 small spon of Macoroni salad, and 1 small bite of lettace.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I have a card and some places honor it and some don't. Golden Corral always honors it.
In Madison and the Chicago area, there is a great place called "Flat Top Grill" that honors the request. Flat Top Grill is a make your own stiry fry place and it's food is fresh and VERY WLS friendly.
Most Chinese buffets in my experience don't, but sometimes you can get a To-Go container and pay the weighed price. This way, I get 2-3 meals for around $6.00!!!!
