March 1st Roll Call

March is coming in like a lamb . . .  will it go out like a lion? In the middle of my breakfast at the moment and just stopping for a short while before going onto the next project for today. Waiting for my sister's call to tell me how far away she is from IL and her ETA to my house. Need to move and do a few other things in the house. Chris

Hi everybody! It sounds like a normal Saturday for everyone. My partner is a Master gardener and working at some garden event in Rockford all day. I'm planning to knit and read, probably go to Cannoli Cafe to have a cup and knit there. The sun comes in the windows and it is warm and cozy.  

Last night I had crab cakes at Five Forks--delicious!! I love finding restaurants where I can eat a reasonable portion and still have the atmosphere of a nice restaurant!

My feeders are filled with birds. Do you think they know something?

Connie where do you find these cafes and restaurants?  You keep comming up with names I've never knew? ( or maybe I don't get out enough)  I am very much interested....I love to eat out at new places. Pam

Happy Sunny Saturday Illinois, The day brings some errands, some homework, and hopefully some time outside--maybe a walk?  I'm so ready for spring and warmer temperatures.  I can't wait until we don't need all of these heavy clothes anymore. Hope all is well, or improving.  Thinking of you all,

Morning everyone and welcome to March!      Well it seems you ladies have been active thus far in the posts!  Not much gong on with me today.  I will probably just be lazy today, well that is what I feel like being.      Last night I went to a bar with a friend, and I noticed that several women, all of whom I would have said were WAY out of my league, were checking me out!  I was shocked, it has been so long since that has happened.  Talk about an ego boost!  I felt so good for the rest of the night. Well have a good Weekend my friends!
