Tuesday Roll Call
Back from the dr and I feel great. I had a great visit with the pschycologist. She helped me set some very small achievable goals and I'm psyched!
I lost 3 1/2 pounds for 37.5 pounds since surgery. I am down to a size 24. Today, I grabed a pantsuit from the back of the closet and tried it on. It is a size 24, but has some elastic in the back of the pants, so I wasn't sure if I was truely in that size or not. Well, I went to Avenue today and hit the clearance rack. I ended up getting a size 24 pants (no elastic) and a size 18/20 sweater. Whats better than that...I only paid 10 bucks for the outfit!!! I love my sales.
back to my small goals for the day...

Dear Renee: You may want to take your own pillow, or at least a smaller pillow for the ride home and to hold against your abdomen when coughing. My surgeon is about an hour and 15 minutes from home, and the pillow was a life-saver! If you take a full size pillow from home, make sure you put a colorful pillowcase on it so it does not get confused with hospital property.
Besides that, you seem to be very well prepared. I am wishing you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery.
You will be on the loser's bench in no time!
