Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning Barry and the rest of Illinois! Barry, I am saying a quick prayer for you that things work out the way you would like. The drive in this morning was pretty crappy, but we DID get at least 6 inches of snow, so I don't know what people expect.  I, along with everyone else and TOTALLY SICK of this.  I thought of calling in "sick of snow" this morning, but I didn't.  My kids are home again......at this rate, it will be the middle of June before they break for Summer. After work, I might see about stopping by my aunt's for a visit.  She is feeling a bit closed in and lonely since my uncle died.  She does not drive yet (Todd is going to teach her if the weather ever clears....) and so she is kind of stuck.  After that, I will battle the traffic to get back home, make dinner and chill out with the family.  That's about it for me today. I hear there are some bad accidents around Rockford, one at Mulford and Spring Creek that was probably fatal.  I am just thankful that I and all I know are safe (so far anyway.....). Monica, I would LOVE to go to China Town!  Maybe we should do that some time....... Everyone stay safe today, Spring has GOT to come eventually!!!!!  (Unless we go right into Summer, which I have seen happen......)

Dawn, China Town was fun, but would have been SO much better if the weather was better.  The group of kids I had were okay, neither I nor Jacob knew any of them and it was kinda weird.  I want to go back sometime in the summer I think...though I dont' want to drive...LOL

Hello IL, I am staying home today and doing some cleaning, it feels like I have been running for the last too weeks and my house needs me to stay home and take care of it. I am so happy yesterday the scale moved again, boy this has been a slow month for me, so I was very happy to see it move 3 lbs down, Well hope everyone has a good day  and maybe if we all think spring it will come soon.

I thought there was someone new on here.  I just looked at your picture and didn't recognize you.  I like your new hairstyle.  Its all ready for spring.  Now, if only the weather would cooperate

Good morning all...This weather sucks.  I am going for a haircut, color, and my eye brows waxed today.  I am also getting a facial.  Boy do I need it.  Working construction and wearing a hardhat my face is breaking out.  I have been drinking a pop today, which is bad.  It isnt diet so its been ruff this morning.  I am drinking bad calories lol.  O well.  I will be good later.  Have a great day all!  ~Dawn

Good morning Barry and everyone,

Well, it happened again.  I don't know how much we got, but I'm assuming we got 6 inches here.  I shoveled twice last night and my daughter once trying to keep up with it.  My daughter has a late start today, so I sent her out to do some and then I will do more before I head out today.

I am heading to my 3 appointments today with the np, nut, and shrink.  I was thinking about leaving at 9  and stopping by the branch that I use to work.  No one there has seen me since my surgery.  Its now almost 9, so thats not happening.  Oh well, we are having a get together with a few of the people on Saturday from there. My dh is delivering into Chicago today, so he will be home tonight.  I need to hurry back and clean.  I have been trying on clothes lately and just piled them on his side of the bed.  I also need to dust our room.  I have been having terrible allergies lately.  For me, this is a February thing.  It must be the acumulation of dust and it can no longer go anywhere, I don't know.  I also have been having headaches, but tylenol does nothing.  Oh how I miss my excederin.  Anyway, I am going to have the np check to make sure that I'm not getting a sinus infection and not just me thinking that its allergies. Barry, I hope that things improve in your life.  You are in my prayers.  Btw, I am somewhat confused.  Do you live in Mokena now or Oakbrook?  I thought that you lived in Oakbrook for a bit.  Oh well, not important just curious.  Just know that whatever your troubles, I am hoping for better times for you. Dawn, I'm glad to see that your feeling much better.  I thought that I was immune to all this sickness since I had my flu shot, but I guess we can never be too careful.  Monica, glad to hear that your ekg came back fine.  Let us know when you have your other test scheduled. Chris, your brother is still in my prayers.  I am also praying for your sisters safe trip.  I'm glad that she is able to make the trip.
