Saturday Roll Call

Well...Maddie got the flu last night at 10:30 and has been sick since.  She did sleep most of the afternoon, which was nice for me, because I got the down stairs cleaned.  Chris and Dawn, you're right, I think she will need sleep to get rid of this!  I want to stay clear of my dad, as this can VERY dangerous for someone like him.  Boy...I'm saying my prayers for your brother Chris!  I know it's very scary to see people on vents.  My dads room mate is on one and every time he coughs, the alarms go off.  Last night I had to find respatory to have some one suction him, because he was struggling!  So just know that prayers are being said daily!!!  I better get going here.   I have to make some dinner for Maddie and I.  Ryan got home late this morning.  He was arresting a stripers boyfriend for beating the crap out of her.  And she didn't want to press charges! Go figure!  Then he stoped and got gingerale and crackers for Maddie, so he is going to sleep late tonight because he has to work tonight again.  Have a good night!!

Ola`-all-I actually had a pleasant day w/my husband today.  Nothing spectacular-the usual trip to Wally world for house stuff-found some drapes for the front room on clearance that look just great.  AND he hung them w/out one F word!  No complaining in Butera about the people, the line at the deli -just some grumbling about the sorry state of the handicapped parking places.  Why do all the snow plowers dump the snow in the handicap spaces in the parking lots?  Very frustrating.  I swallowed my vain pride and went and got fitted for my brace yesterday-  they will make it flesh colored for me so I don't look too freakish.  I figured if Heather Mills can dance on prime-time with a prosthesis-I can survive this.  It's better than the juice and pee salve I had to stuff the crater with! LOL!!!!  Tomorrow is my youngest grandson's 5th b-day party.  Every time I asked him what he wanted all he asked for was a Transformers watch and I found it on Amazon w/3 inter changeable face no less-found a Transformers t-shirt in Camo colors-am i gonna score Nana points or what? Even w/expidited shipping I came in at my pre-set limit for all the grandkids-I am jazzed!  I ran into one of my daughter's in-laws at Wal-Mart and she hasn't seem me since I lost weight or w/out my oxygen and almost didn't recognize me!  She said I look like a different woman!  So that boosted my self-esteem.  I have problems in that area, believe it or not.  Christine, your brother is in my prayers and first on my St. Jude list.  Kim, hope Maddie is better soon.  Monica-go get your EKG checked out-it's probably nothing-but you don't want to take a chance.  Jasmin-I hope your eating issues resolve quickly.    Dee hope to see you in April-Christina said she will schlepp me along if Joyboy isn't up to it, and since he has the 1st hand surgery April 2, I think my chances of him going are slim to none.  Connie-can't wait for the pics-have a ball.  Lisa-it's hard to see them grandkids lose the magic , but they still love Xmas and can't wait for presents-you just get the thank-yous now.  My 15 yr old grandson gets more jazzed over the family dinners than anything-he wants to be a chef and is into everyone's pots!  You all have a wonderful Sunday-Big hugs-Janet K P.S.  Bigs hellos- to Lucy and Wendi also!!!

Hey you...  I'm glad you had a good day.  My butt is dragging.  They have me working Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun at Bakers plus mandatory ot at my day job so I have just been dog tired and going from job to job then slipping into bed just in time to do it all over again. Your post sounds like you have your pep back in your step.  Maybe the sun helped today.  HUGS, Christina
