Friday Roll Call

Good glorious Friday morning to all. What is going on with all of you today  I have the usual thing to do between 7-3 and that is work. Later on this evening Dave and I are going to the opening performance for Aresnic and Old Lace that a local theather group is putting on. We were invited as guests to a special performance of it last night; we are patrons of the group. It was a little rough around the edges with some flubbed lines but they will polish that I am sure for tonight. We mentor another young couple from our church and they are coming with us. She is in our church orchestra and he is mine and Dave's computer IT person for our home computers. My brother is progressing well. He is off of the vent, sitting in a chair, talking etc. The one thing that is happening is that he is going ****o from the morphine and saying crazy things, even talking about my mother's untimely death in '90 from the fire in my parent's home. Jim really has never come to grips with it. His kidneys are having a difficult time right now and they might need to do dialysis. He will go to a regular hospital room Sat. or Sun. Well, I need to slip off here and get ready for work. You all take care and have a safe, productive and wonderful Friday.   & Christine

Good morning!  I am here, stuck in the house yet again.  We have more ice coming...YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE, can you feel the sarcasm...lol  Has anyone heard from Kerry G.  She had her surgery on the 6th.  I have PM'd her, and e-mailed her, but nothing.  I hope everything went okay, and she is just getting her rest. DH is off today, and I might do some sweet talking about the party in April, but we have a lot of cir****tances that might hold us back.  We would have to probably get a hotel room, since it is a 4 and a half hour drive for us. Well, I am off to finish my coffee.

Good Morning Christine and Illinois... Christine, I am glad to hear your brother pulled through surgery! I will keep him in prayer... I think that is neat your church offers a mentoring program! Have fun tonight!  I am going to water aerobics this morning... I lost 4 pounds this week! I am happy with that... Enjoy your Friday's everyone... Jenn

Well I am home today and making dinner for the family in a few. I did not have to work last night which helped me sleep some regular hours which is odd to me. I have been really busy with my Tupperware business and sending out catalogs to people.  I am finding that I am able to tolerate more food that is normal for when we eat dinner. Next week fruit and turkey, I was so excited planning on what all I get to eat that the people are work were laughing at me. I said that I was going to make a large turkey and make all this stuff and they said that based on the little amount of food that I get to eat that it would take me a month to eat a turkey and so forth.  Well I will let you go gotta get kids off to school.  Talk to you all in a while.

Can you mail me a Tupperware catalog?  I have been trying to organize my kitchen and that just might help me out a lot!  I can PM you my address if you can.

Good morning. I am here too. Got up late, went grocery shopping and then to work. Chris, I hope your brother's recovery progresses well. I'll keep him in my prayers. Dee, sorry that you're going through the ice thing. Up north, we know what that is like! I do hope you can sweet talk your DH into coming, but I understand if you have some constraints and can't make it. Not much going on this weekend. Going to weigh****chers, my sister is coming to visit and Sunday should be a day for some house cleaning. We'll see! Well, gotta get back to work. Wishing everyone a wonderful day and weekend. Good Morning, I have my follow up with dr today. So we'll see how that goes. I am excited to get out of the house for the first time in a week. I might even run into walmart for some things. We got up this morning to a warm fridge  So you all know what that means... take everything that can be saved out and through EVERYTHING else away. Now we have to get a new one, UGH.. Good Morning Everyone!  Had a great time with my friend at lunch yesterday. Not much going on with me today. I must clean house and exercise. Good Morning Il Friends! 

Chris I was thinking about your brother yesterday because I was at ABMC for my visit with Dr Rantis.  I am glad to hear that he's up and doing better.  Hopefully things will continue to improve for him.

Today I am going to work and then stopping at a store called the Furniture Box on Randall Rd so I can see if they have a bookshelf.  I need one desperately here and they are fairly inexpensive.  After that it's home until I have to take Tyler and Jacob to their dad's around 9pm tonight. 

that's all going on here, my stomach is still a little upset from my upper GI yesterday...it was really bad last night.  Hoping this is fairly normal..lol

Monica, it has been a long time since I had an upper GI but if I remember correctly the stuff they make you drink can cause that. Touch base with Dr Pete office later if it is not any better and ask if there is a remedy to help make it better. You just might have to wait for it to clear your insides. Chris
