Time for Us to Plan a Get Together!

Now that we are in the midst of the end of the dreary and cold winter, I feel like it's time to plan a get together. As you know, our December 1st one was cancelled due to the ice storm. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to having everyone over. I am willing to check into a date for April to see if my clubhouse is available. April 5, 12, 19 and 26 are the Saturdays in April. Please let me know if any of the dates are good for you! Hugs, Lucy

Hi there Miss Lucy!!!! I am SOOOOO glad to see you posting again. I think it is a WONDERFUL idea to have our get-together rescheduled at your club house in April. For me, the first few weekends will be best as it looks like we will be taking a road trip to New Orleans toward the end of April to take my uncle's ashes back home. I do not have a definate date yet as to when we will be doing that, but I know it will be more to the end of April. I am just now starting to get to the planning stages for that trip. I hear you are looking wonderful, all healed and such! Hugs back to you!

Hi Dawn. Thanks for your wonderful message. It was so good to see the girls on Saturday. I'm going to look a lot better by the time we have our party. My goodness, summer is coming and I don't want my protruding stomach sticking out so much in my bikinis. I am going to Sedona for my birthday week in May and plan on taking a hot air balloon ride again! I loved it. I plan on visiting the vortex while there. I missed it the last time. Dave and I are gone on the 5th because of being in FL. We are gone for 5 days. We as of now do not have any other plans for the rest of the Saturday's in April. Chris

I am thinking that the only one that wouldn't work for me would be the 5th right now. Possibly not the 26th, we are thinking of planning something for my parents 50th anniversary which is the 30th of April.

I just know that I will try everything in my power to be there!!

Ooohhh! I want to come! We have a clubhouse here too, so I could probably do something in the summer as a sort of WLS potluck or something. I could do it at my house, but I think it would just be more of a pain than anything with my moronic dog.

I'm open and am excited about a get together. You may want to check w/ Kim since she posted a few days back about having a get together at her house in April. Maybe one of you can do April and the other in May. I'll volunteer for June at my house if anyone's interested. Christina
