Ok, first of all...Happy Pres day to  you all

I think I am losing my mind  It was 46 yesterday and raining cats and dogs and today the wind chill is 36 below zero

Sometimes I want you guys to feel  you can vent and share your frustrations here with us all.  It helps to put your issues down.  I was having a hard time getting up in the morning and shared that with you guys.  Well someone asked the simple question, why are you so tired in the morning.  I said it was due to my getting up and going pee 20 times at night.  I thought it was an age issue, ya know us old folks just can't hold water like we use to  But then I got to thinking and did some research and then     A LIGHT BULB MOMENT

I drink tons of water and tea.  That is it...no pop or anything else.  Well tea is a great natural diuretic.  And I was drinking tons of it just before I went to bed.  When I visited Charlie I didn't have any tea the first 2 days and slept like a baby.  I thought it was just being in the beach setting and all.  So, I make a point to not drink any regular tea before bed time and I am ready to go in the morning for sure

I pulled out a can of whoop a$$ this weekend and did the body weight lifting class Saturday, Sunday and today.  Took my boxing class on each day as well, going to my boxing class tonight.

So My Friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today  Come on and let's get this party started

Good afternoon and Happy Prsident's Day to you too! You are AMAZING!  TWO classes per day?  Wow!  I think I am doing well to get in my 45 minutes to an hour each day of movement. I DID move this morning and all weekend.  At the hotel on Saturday, I used their recumbant bike for 40 minutes then did some weight work. Last night at the pool, I swam laps (mostly back stroke) for almost 20 minutes, and this morning, back on the home bike for 40 minutes with some stretching afterwards. I have to tell ya all though.............I am getting VERY discouraged.  Maybe it is because I am coming down with a cold, (maybe I am just a whiner) but I am having a harder and harder time justifying getting up so early and working so hard (hard for me anyway........) every day.  I have been exercising religiously since September, increasing resistance, trying new things, doing more miles on the bike, challenging my body, etc....... I have not lost a single pound since August nor inch since December.  I am only 15.5 months out from surgery and stopped losing at 10 months.  I do not know that I feel that much better whether I do or don't exercise, so sometimes I feel like, "what is the point?"  Diet and exercise NEVER worked for me before surgery and they sure don't seem to be working now.  I was under the impression that this tool would solve that issue.  On top of it all, my surgeon's office could care less. That is my vent for the day.  If you have any suggestions, let me know, otherwise, I will be back to my usual positive self soon, I am sure.  Sometimes, it just feels good to get it off my chest. Thanks for keeping us honest!

Dawn, Have you not lost any inches and or body fat?  Numbers on the scale is not always the best way to determine success Let's talk if you want.... Take care, Kathy
