Saturday Roll Call

I know that I am posting quite late, but after going to the Kane Center Support group this morning, my DH and I stopped for lunch at Taco Bell.  I got Pintos n Cheese and a soft shell chicken taco with meat and cheese only and then scrapped out all the filling into the beans.  I was full after about 3/4 of it.  From there, we went to Trader Joes in Northbrook and I got some almonds and several protein bars to try.  From there we went to Knauz Auto Mall in Lake Bluff, where I took the Mini Cooper Clubman out for a spin.  While it breaks my heart to get rid of the convertible, I am getting a double sunroof and a cute car...  I place my order so the new wheels should be here the same day I go for my 3 month check up.  Then we had to make a stop at Walmart, Walgreens, and Jewel before we even walked in the door at 6 pm.  I am now trying to pick up the house and do homework but as you can see nothing is getting done as I am posting here on OH. Tomorrow is more of cleaning house, doing homework, and sitting and watching the Daytona 500.  Yes, I am jazzed as it is now race season. 

Good evening, First I must say thank you to Wendi for the protien drinks!  And she looks nothing like the picture that is posted!  She has lost so much weight, that I did not even notice her today at the Kane Support Group.  It was nice to see Monica, Ronna, Weni and Lucy today!!  We were talking about another get together soon.  I think we should make it sometime in April and I am willing to have it at my house.  I think it would be better than some place, because then we can talk, rome and be way more social that if we were at a restraunt.  I say a lunchon or a early dinner thing. Everyone bring a dish to pass and pictures or stories and questions.  You are welcome to bring a friend, wife, husband or partner!  More the better!   I am going to bed now.  It has been a long day!  Went to the hospital today to see my dad.  He told me today that he is plotting his escape from the place.  He said that he wants to go home and pack a cooler and take a hot shower  and then go back. He is VERY confused and sick right now!  You  guys have been so awesome to me and all the support will never go unforgotten!  I love you guys!!!

Like I said this morning Kim, your dad and family are always in my prayers!  It was really good to see everything this morning.  Everyone is looking great. 

A get together sounds great to me.  I don't even know where Poplar Grove is, but count me in.  How did your appointments go this week? ~Michelle
