Dr Hart

Well I have to say that I actually enjoyed my visit with Dr Hart and his staff.  I just loved the nurse who did my lung function test, which I passed with flying colors.  The next nurse who I saw and asked me a bunch of questions before Dr Hart came in was very nice as well.  Then in walked Dr Hart.  he was very nice and explained everything great.  He seems very monotoned though...LOL   He said that I would be an easy clearance....until.....he looked in my throat.  See I have always had chronically huge tonsils and because of that he sent me home with an oximeter to wear tonight just to make sure that they aren't causing problems with my getting enough oxygen at night.  he's sure it will be fine, but wants to make sure.  I will be taking another drive to his office in the morning to return the little machine and see the results I hope.

After that appt, I went store hopping. I went to The Container Store, Land's End, Borders, Home Goods and Marshalls...I think that's it.  I only spent a total of $30 too.  at that was only at Home Goods and Borders.  Then I went to the Kane center 2 hours early and just sat in the waiting room and read while waiting for my ultrasound.  I had that and they said that everything looked good.  Mary said that once she gets the clearance from Dr Hart we can schedule.  I can't wait....I am really getting anxious now.  This is worse than waiting for the insurance to me!

Just wanted to let everyone know how the appts went.

The oximeter thing is a breeze too..... I too hated the waiting game.  But you are so close....I bet you have surgery by the first of the month

I am thinking that it will be more like the end of March because I have to be off of my birth control pill for a month.  Do you think that I should go ahead and stop it already?  Maybe that would help me get a sooner date...hmmmmm I will be finishing a pack this Sunday too.  (I take 3 months in a row usually but I suppose I could just stop at the end of this pack...)  something to think about....lol

Monica, that is fantastic news. I am so happy that you had a good visit with Hart's office. Like Wendi said you should be hearing the good news with a date. Chris

Glad things well- monotone is like Mr. Happy for him.   The oximeter is a piece of cake-you'll breeze through.  We'll see ya on the loser's bench in no time-Big Hugs-Janet K
