Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning everyone, get out of you sleep heads. Well, it looks like we skated on this storm that was to hit overnight, that is good. What was barreling down on us went north and the storm behind it is not to produce much. I saw on the news last night that we have such extremes here in the Chgo area, anywhere from 11" in the Joliet area to 54" in Antioch for the winter total so far. We should be thankful because Madison, WI is just about over it's record of 76". I will see what it all looks like up there on Friday when we are driving through to the Dells. What's cookn' in your world today  I have work here in a short while then I need to go back into work because a new officer is being sworn in at the village board meeting. I am one of the official picture takers.  Well, I need to get a bathroom spiffied up before I get ready for work. I want the house spic n span before we leave Friday morning so I have a clean house to come home to. I just have a couple things to do before then, something each night after work. I thought I was going to be first today.  Oh well.  Being second isn't too bad.  I didn't sleep well last night.  I was up every couple of hours and could only get back to sleep when exhaustion over came me.  MIL showed up last night unexpectedly.  It wasn't a pleasant experience, she doesn't like me at all.  God I wish I could say more, as I need to vent, but I can't.  kinda frustrating, but I need to not vent.  Grrrrrrrrrrr Ok I went through my closet this weekend and I am wearing jeans I haven't worn in 6 years!  I am getting ready to have to go in to bins of cloths that I have in the basement that I put cloths in that I thought I would never get in to again.  Well I might get in to them very soon.  I am so stoked!

As for the clothes...YAY  I can't wait for that to happen for me!!!  Congrats!

Barry, you need to get up early to beat me. I am an early riser, it is rare for me to sleep past 515am. I will tell you what - try to beat me this weekend. . . I will be in WI BUT I will have internet access.  I will not go into what is going on with the MIL but hopefully it all will be amicable in the long run.  I love closet finds. Keep up the good work and enjoy your "bin" diving for more finds to wear. Chris

Good morning Christine and Barry I'd say this is like a heat wave out there!  I had to work outside Saturday night for Sunday morning and then do a route at about 4:30 am Sunday morning.......Burrrrrr hasn't been that cold in a while.  I think that was the only time I missed my old fat self!   I saw Christine that you slept in Sunday morning?   I am so proud of you.......That's a rare thing to happen?   BTW  my cat and I just love that new toy......at least that's how she's treating it!   LOL  thank you! I am not doing nothing today.........looking foward to it also! Barry you don't have to feel bad about venting on this board!   We ALL do it! And we all will understand.....so with that being said......just know we are there for you if you need to talk! Besides....look at all the women that will give you their opinion!  I know that sounds scarey.......but it's not bad......we are all nice here! LOL Illinois have a great day! Pam

Yes, I slept in on Sunday - don't get used to it, LOL. I am so glad that the toy has found a new home. Does Kitty go running in like my Miss Kitty did when she first heard it when I brought it home? It makes sort of a high pitch squeal when it starts to rake. I found that Meggie used to pee pee in one corner and there sometimes would be a small clump in that corner but that is what the fork thingy is for. Meggie used to swat at the box when it would start to rake, like she was trying to get it to stop. She had no claws so she was swatting basically at nothing. It was a year ago on Sunday that I found her in my living room and she had had a stroke. We miss that cat so much. I guess that is why I have been sad all week. The 11th was actually the day I had to put her to sleep. CB

Just a quick note this morning, gotta leave in a few minutes and I need to get my coffee and water for the day.  Just happy that the snow missed us last night. I hate driving on snow packed and blowing roads. Plus it seems a bit warmer today. Nothing on my list for today but work. Its a dull week Hugs i

Stay safe and do not go out until it is warmer and the salt has started to work. We are running out of salt up here - local, township, county and state.  We can exchange lives - I hate going into work some days especially during evaluation time close to May. Chris

Morning everyone, well had my educational meeting last night. It was informative, although I did already know most of it. There was quite a few people there, even though some came late due to the weather. My hubby did not stay as he had to go back for the kiddies. I was glad he did drive though as the roads were pretty slick. Anyway, today is PT and then to pick up some vitamins for pre-op and some protein shakes/powder.
