Did You Move To Lose Today? Happy Friday!
Hey Everyone
I am still playing catch up and can't believe it's Friday already
Last night I went to my kick boxing class and it felt so good to be back. You would have laughed, we had to do this warm up thing called Suicide where you had to run to one bag and touch the ground then run back and touch the ground and then go to the next bag further down and touch the ground and so on....get the picture? Well, there were youngens there and I mean young, and they were wanting to pass this grandma's butt but I would not let them
It was a good workout
We don't just hit the bag they have pre class and post class stuff to build your endurance. They also wanted to start some sparring classes. Now I love this boxing kicking thing, but have not desire to hit someone or be hit. When she asked me I told her see this smile? It represents a life time of saving money and fixed bad teeth, NO ONE IS GOING TO HIT THESE BABIES
She laughed
So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Come on and let's end the week with a bang and start the weekend with some butt kicking moves
Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy,
Kathy

Hi Kathy and welcome home!
I hope you had an awesome vacation---sorry you had to come back to the "weather".
Yes, I have moved every day this week. Today and Wednesday was a routine using the ball that works all muscle groups. I got it from SparkPeople, and it is called "15 Minute Ball workout", but it takes 30 minutes if you do all the reps and hold all stretches for 30 seconds.
I usually add a few more things in there too, so I wind up working out for about 45 minutes total.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I do the cardio on the bike for 45 minutes. I have increased the resistance a bit, so I feel I am burning calories efficiently. I am looking forward to Spring so I can ride a real bike outdoors!
I still have not lost a single ounce, but I feel pretty good!
Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Dawn,
If not losing bothers you, you may want to review your food. Do you journal? Also, you may want to try different exercises. You know mix it up and trick the body. If you are not bothered and feeling great then keep doing what you are
I think I shared with you, I didn't lose for 9 weeks, I just kept eating the right foods and kept working out. It started again and never stopped.
You are doing GREAT!!
Enjoy the weekend and see ya Monday
Take care,
Kathy

HI Kathy!
Thanks for the suggestions, but yes, I do them all.
I am planning on continuing to do all that I am doing. It seems to me that at some point, my body will HAVE to give in, even though it is VERY stubborn. I have not lost a single pound since the middle of August!
I am trying not to be discouraged, but ideally, I would like to lose 35 more pounds, but even 20 would be OK.
Thanks again for the inspiration!
