Gina, such a small world. Dave & I love Heartland. We are kind of sad because you there at the church are getting one of our teaching pastors from Willow Creek, Mike Breaux (pronounced "Bro"). Mike is a fantastic teacher and worship leader, you are in for a wonderful treat if you like contemporary worship music. Dave and I have gone there once and really liked it. We had decided to go there on a "church commute" once in a while. We will see if we can try to get together sometime when we come out in the future. Chris

We absoultely love Mike Breaux!  The messages that he teachs are so awesome and really relate to your life.  My husband, Joe spent his teen years attending Willow Creek and loved it there.  So it only seemed right that when we were looking for a new church that we go try out Heartland.  We feel in love with it :)  I would love to meet up with you and Dave if you were to come out :)  We are taking Joe parents and sister who are in from Quincy on Sunday ... we are soo excited to show them what we are in love with :) Maybe see you soon :) Gina

Hi to all my friends in IL....well, today was my 42nd Birthday  and it was just another day.  With the storm coming in my DH will have to plow snow, so that means that Red Lobster for dinner is on hold.   I have heard that we are to get up to 18" of the white death, so I may get to sleep in tomorrow.

Happy Happy to you my dear There will be another time more enjoyable for both to go out. Dave and I have been meaning to go to RL. Some of their commercials look so good. I am sure that there is something a RNY patient can have without breading and tones of greasey butter.  You heard 18" - huh. I just turned on the tv to listen to the news.Weather.com is still saying 6-10". I hope you are wrong. WGN just said 8-12" with 2" accumulation an hour. The kicker is that many of the towns are just about out of salt, our included. Chris

I am a little late but better late than ever. Well I slept most of the day to relax and get ready for work tonight (8pm - 630am) it was supposed to be my first day back since surgery. Well when Matt left work in Rockford at 5 the roads were bad. So I called to see if could take tonight as vacation day. So I was able to stay home again one more day. Matt was concerned because I am leaking out of the large incision did not want any accidents or me getting stuck without meds or issues with the padding. Which I am thinking was a smart move because i heard we are supposed to get 10-18 inches. (CRAZY I WANT SPRING) Anyhoo hope you all have a good day and will probably write tomorrow night.

You made a wise decision to stay home. Get in contact with your doctor about your incision. Christine
