Quetions

Question, I have been having issues with going to the bathroom. I have taken the senecot to help and still nothing. I am getting a little concerned but not bad yet just wondering if anyone else has had this is issue because does not feel like I have a blockage but can not go. Any insight?

Fiber supplement....and how long has it been?

It has been only about 3 days but also had my "friend" was here.

I was told by surgeon that this sometimes happens because we are not drinking enough water.  Also, remember that you are not going to have a bm as frequently because you are not eating like you used to. Christina

I remember my first month I had one problem or the other.  I either never went or I went non-stop.  I think this lasted about a month or six weeks and then my body regulated itself.  Just keep following all of your doctors orders and  you will be fine. How are you feeling and how is the loosing coming along?

I had the same problem my first few weeks after surgery.  Call your doctor's office if nothing happens in a couple more days.  You may need to take some Milk of Magnesia or even a glycerin suppository to help get things moving. But as someone else said, make sure you keep drinking that will help.

I will just  be starting my third week post op. I have taken senecot which is what the dr recommended. I am still waiting. I know that I am drinking about 50-60 oz of water a day.

This is kind of common. Found if you drink water that helps so much!!!!
