Friday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois...home on a snow day here in Mundelein. My school in Lincolnshire is closed so DH is outside snowblowing a huge ice rink on our lake! We're going to strap on our skates for a couple of hours instead of going to the Y! (Sounds more fun anyway!) Sadly our yellow lab blew out her CCL, so she's scheduled for surgery on February 12th and can't be outside playing with us. This is her second surgery...had the left leg repaired in August, 2007...aaahhh! Hard to see her face looking out the window while we're having fun outside.
Drinking my coffee, checking email, and getting some good high protein foods together as my carb monster is out of control lately! UGH! Stay safe today and keep warm! Good day to read a book under the covers!

Good Moring Pam & all of IL -
It's been a busy day for me. Not too much to report. We are braving the cold and doing the samo, samo.
My foot is healing nicely. No running or arobics for six more weeks and have to wear the brace over night but other then that, I'm doing great.
Calvin is trying to deal with his new lifestyle. He can't wait to get a fill next Tuesday. Right now he has no restrictions so it's tough dealing with the constant feeling of hunger.
Hope everyone has a nice day. It's a great day to make snow angels
