On the phone with insurance right now

Well I am on the phone with Debbie from BCBS right now and I am getting a sick feeling in my stomach.  She spent about 5 min reading notes on my file and now she put me on hold....to me, it doesn't sound good.  We shall see what she says when she gets back.  IF I am denied, well then I will do what I have to do to make them change their minds.  IF I am approved well then I am going outside to build a snowman! LOL 

Okay she came back on the line and told me the answer and now I am wiping the tears from my eyes.....HAPPY TEARS.....

I WAS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SOOO excited I just screamed when I hung up the phone, "I was approved"  and Tyler came running at me and gave me the biggest hug!!!  He's SO happy for me.  No one else is home!!!!
I have my appointment with Dr Hart on Valentine's Day...how cute is that?  lol   I need to go to one of Dr Crane's seminar's, either tomorrow morning or on the 16th of Feb and then just meet with the hospital dietician.....

Okay, I will go outside now and play in the snow with the kids and the dogs!  lol

 

 

WTG!  I know you are so excited right now!   You'll be on the loser's bench before you know it!

Thank you Kerri!   I am SO excited, but you all know how that is.  It was approved and the letter sent to out on the 30th.  Hopefully the Dr's office will get it either today or Monday and we go from there!

OMG!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!! I just KNEW you would get good news!!!!! Happy snowman building!!!!  Heck, build 2 or 3!!!! I can't wait to hear when your date will be. I wish I was there to scream with you!

Oh yeah, about those snowmen....I just let the dogs out and it's pretty cold out there!  LOL  not sure that will happen!  I hate the cold!

Monica, this is the most fantastic news I have heard all week, aside from Dave's interview yesterday. Take your garlic with when you visit Dr. Doom; he is not a pleasant man. He gave Dave and Janet a horrible time. Dave had to beg that man to okay him for surgery.

BIG CONGRATS!!!! Yes, Dr. Hart is Dr. Doom.  He can be as sweet as pie to some people (ie:Martha), but he sure gave Dave and I a run for our money.  I almost cancelled my surgery he scared me so bad.  Thank you Jesus, for the 2 Chris's-especially Chris B.  He can be very cold and very harsh.  I took my St. Jude rosary and a clove of garlic to my last pre-op visit to ward off his evil mojo!  Hopefully you won't have that experience.  We'll be waiting for you on the loser's bench.  Come on down!!!!  Big hugs-Janet K
