Progress Pictures

Well, I finally got the camparison shots I was waiting for. My highest photographed weight (that I can remember) was at the beginning of December, 2005 for my Christmas party.  It was an awful picture. I was looking forward to having one like it taken this year so that I could do a side-by-side comparison.  I had this year's picture taken on Saturday at Todd's Christmas Party, but I am not computer-savvy enough to get them together, nor can I get them to post here or in my blog, so I had to upload them into my profile separately.  I know I have been whining like crazy about my 4 month plateau, but after spending Friday and Saturday getting lots of positive comments, I am going to try to be happy with how far I have come and not bother with the rest.  The pictures really do speak for themselves. Things are finally starting to settle down.  We are both back to work and doing fine.  I'm really trying to stay out of his "business" with the wls deal.  It's really hard for me to just sit back and watch him make mistakes w/out saying something but he's been thru the program, he's seen the struggles I've had so he knows right from wrong.   Overall, I personally think he is doing very well.  I think there are times he pushes the envelope a bit too far but he'll learn.   BTW, he called to tell me today that the furnace has to be replaced.  UGH!  I thought of you just having yours replaced recently.  Not fun. I know your going thru a hard time and I'm very sorry.  Hang in there. Christina

That furnace thing stinks!  It seems like it is always something, doesn't it? I understand what you mean about staying out if his "business".  It must be hard since he has the band, which means that he can get a way with things that we can't.  I know what it is like to have to "zip the lip" sometimes. The hardest part about my uncle being gone is over.  Now, we just have to get back to the same ol', same ol'.  That is, until Spring Break when we are planning on taking a road trip to take his ashes back to New Orleans where he would want to be.  His wife does not like to fly, so we are planning a "Little Miss Sunshine" kind of trip with Todd, the kids and I (and maybe a couple more, who knows?)  Thanks for thinking of me!

It is funny, I have heard discussion of body dysmorphia, but until seeing these pictures, I did not know that I has that problem.  I know that you will be not so far behind, once we can get you an approval.  All my body parts are still crossed for you!
