Wendi,

21 pounds is great!!!  I met Marilyn last week, she is really nice.  I see her again in March. How is your DH doing?  Is his ear infection all gone? Good luck with that final. ~Michelle

Hello Everyone - I had to be at work at 6am this morning.  I'm now in for the night and just relaxing since Calvin is working the evening shift tonight.  No plans, just going to snuggle up w/ my girls and read a book here in a few. I do have some wallpaper I need to tackle but I think it's going to be my Sunday project.   Chris -  I sure hope your feeling better after your fall.  Thank goodness you did not break any bones girlfriend. Hope everyone is staying warm. Christina

I you don't know me but my name is Beth and I about an hour south of Springfield. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a loving and very supportive husband of 20 years. I have just in the past couple fo days conquered my fear of the doctors office and went for an appointment. Let me tell you I WAS SCARED TO DEATH. It went really well, tho. He is so compassionate and caring and he really listens. He's like talking to your best friend. It is so comforting. Well, when I went I discussed WLS and he totally agreed and said he would do everything he could to help me. I am now going back 3 times a week to have my blood pressure checked and am working on lifestyle changes. I am day three on trying to change my life. IF I have to be on a two year waiting list for surgery then I must. Hopefully something changes but in the meantime I am working toward lifestyle and eating changes that I know I will have to make after surgery anyway.  My doctor asked that I walk 15 minutes a day. He wasn't pushy or demanding and he even went so far as to say that he realizes exercise and diet at this point is not going to undo what is done that it is going to take more drastic measures. I appreciate his honesty and understanding. We did talk about the walking setting a good habit for after surgery tho so I am going to push myself to do it. I know 15 minutes isn't much but I know most of you also know 15 minutes is exhausting when you carry around so much weight.  BTW, I have a friend at the doctor's office that has WLS about 5 years and she told me to come here because you all helped her so very much and she was sure you would help me, too. So far all the responses have been wonderful. Thank you. Beth

Good evening, I have been very busy with my new puppy that I got to pick up on Friday night. She is wonderful. Other than that we are just staying in and relaxing as well. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Erin.. What kind of puppy did you get?  Have you named her?  When you get time, post some pictures on your profile.  I would love to see the little one. Christina

Hey everyone, well today made a decision that will be tough, but tomorrow will be a telling day (prayers please).  Besides that I have been busy, but still I can't think of a thing I got done.  Weird, eh?  At least it is warmer now.  That is a good thing, right?
