Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning IL!!  Where is everyone?  Probably left early to fight the snow huh?  I will be leaving here in about 15 minutes or so to head out to work. 
Tonight hubby, Tyler and I will be going to the school to see what Tyler's been doing in his IMSA classes after school for the last couple of months.  It's an open house and I am excited to see what he's been up to.  Other than that, nothing else really going on here today.

I walked to work today so I just left at regular time but gave myself a couple few minutes to get across the road at the traffic signal. At work at the moment and it will probably be slow today. Need to get to the grocery store afterwork and to Target to get a baby shower gift for Sunday. That is about it. The roads should be cleared by then. My town was really clean. I heard the trucks out at 5am when I woke up to wash my uniforms. Chris

Wow was it a fun ride to the train today.  Westmont has not hit a single back road at all.  It was not fun, and I had my Jeep in 4 Wheel Drive the whole way! I was debating on taking a cab to work today since it is slick out, but I figured I needed to walk (made cookies last night and I can't resist cookie dough) and burn off some bad calories.  I can't wait until it is a bit warmer.  This extreme cold is just getting me.  Who ever invented wind chill should be shot :)

I live in New Lenox and we got about 3 inches last night but the wind made some hefty drifts. Have a great day everyone and be careful out there.

Well since still on diability from surgery just staying home and relaxing. Did a load of dishes, other than that nothing else going on. Just going to relax since yesterday was going to but the kids were home and with 5 kids relaxing is something that does not happen. Stay warm and talk to you all later.

Good Morning Monica and the rest of Illinois! I have been MIA, and may continue to be a bit spotty. Early (3:00 am) on Sunday, Amber called me to tell me that my favorite uncle died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack.  I have been staying with my aunt to give her support ever since.  These are the aunt and uncle that we moved up here from New Orleans right before Katrina hit.  Todd, the kids and I are devestated.  My aunt is not from around here and their whole lives revolved around each other for over 37 years.  It is very sad and senseless.  He was not sick, nor did he have any heart problems. I am at work at the moment and will be in and out for the rest of the week.  I will try to check in with you all when I can. Monica, I have my fingers crossed for you to hear good news the first try.  It CAN happen, and you deserve it to happen to you. Everyone else.........remember to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you each and every day.  Try not to let petty anoyances become big problems. I wish a lovely day to everyone!
