Monday Roll Call
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Good Morning IL!! Well this starts the week of waiting to find out about insurance. I sent Michelle the 5 yr history on Saturday and sent it Priority. I am hoping she will get in in the next couple of days. From there I have NO idea how long it takes before she sends it in.
Today I have work, homework and working out again. I am finding that when I don't work out I feel like I am missing something. That's good I suppose.
The kids go back to school today too...yay!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day and stay dry, it's supposed to rain and possibly even thunderstorm! go figure.
Good Morning Martha and the rest of Illinois! I am thinking of Mika today and wishing both her and Calvin great luck. Barry----that IS pretty funny about your undies and GREAT about the poundage! I am working today as usual. Even though I hear it is pretty warm out, it still looks a bit gloomy here and our building really holds the cold, so I only have 2 layers on today (as opposed to the usual 4)! After work, I need to stop at the store for a couple of things for Wednesday's dinner and then to the meat processor for the rest of my meat that is now ready.
I have been tracking my intake and exercise at Sparkpeople.com and also trying to add in a few more calories and make sure that I eat every 2-3 hours. I have been doing this since last Thursday and dare I say it...........I had lost 4 pounds as of Saturday, but gained two back by this morning. (I was not as regimented about it over the weekend, but I tried.) Maybe, just maybe......this will be the answer to the dreaded plateau? I DO know that I like the information that I have been getting from the site. They talk about putting an end to dieting and focusing on being healthy. What a concept!!!!! Glad to see some new "faces" and happy to hear from old friends! Everyone have a lovely day!
I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!
