Lap-Band Podcast?

Ok I am a total geek on this.  I have done a personal podcast for almost two years now, and I have been debating making a podcast about the Lap Band, what it is, what you go through before and after surgery.  Would anyone be interested in something like that.  I would probably suggest it to my surgeon as a way to get more information out.

Hi Barry - I think it's a great idea.  I really need to put a fire under my butt and educate myself on lapband considering my dh is having lapband on Tuesday.  I know a lot about gastric but not much about lapband.  I continue to encourage him to come to OH and meet other men and ladies that are going or have been thru what he will be facing. Hope it all works out for you.. I really do think it would be very helpful. Christina

Christina, if you need any information on what the band is about, feel free to contact me.  I am kind of an expert on it (two bands in my family, and over 230 pounds lost with them.  I can answer most any question you got.  Where is your dh having their surgery?

Hi, I'm going for my first adjustment on 1/16/08(my surgery was 12/19/07). I realize that there is no restriction yet, I knew that before the surgery but I am so disgusted with myself.  I'm hungary all the time, I know I'm eating more than I should.  I'm scared to death to get on the scale.  I'm just feeling like for a few days after the surgery I felt so peaceful, like I didnt have to fight this food from morning until night.  I don't see any comments like this I hope I don't discourage anyone else...  Thank you
