BRRRRRR GGGOOOODDDD MOOOORRRNNNING IL That is my teeth chattering. Man it is a little nippie outside, 1 above here just a few minutes ago. I wanted to stay in bed with my electric mattress pad and electric blanket, much warmer there.  At least it is going to be warmer over the weekend when we want to use our 3 season room on Saturday, but more snow and ice is coming.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on that front. What is going on in your world  Please all keep Kim in your thoughts and prayers and give her any suggestions for how to handle her denial again by BCBS IL. How horrible. I can feel the horrible feeling because Dave was denied by Cigna before he decided to go with my insurance for his surgery.  Hope you all have a great day. Christine  &

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is RIGHT!!!!!  I am dressed in four layers and am still a *****illy.  Of course, the building where I work is always cold.  I think it is because it is one of those metal buildings. I am keeping Kim in my thoughts.  It is SOOO hard to deal with the emotions of the denials. Besides trying to stay warm, I am just working today.  After work, I will head home to make a nice dinner of some pork chops that I put in to marinade this morning.  The boys have a Scout meeting, so it will just be me and Liv hanging out at home.  I will probably get to work on storing the Christmas stuff away until next year. I am SOOOO looking forward to Spring.  I think that we need to plan a get together once the weather breaks.......maybe reschedule at Lucy's????  It will be something to look forward to during the last part of winter. How are Christina and Calvin doing?  They should be getting ready for his surgery next Tuesday.  "It's My Time" is going in on Monday, so let's keep them both in our thoughts as they prepare to step into the loser's side. I am wishing everyone a great day! Stay warm and stop in and let us know what is going on in your corner of the world!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hello Illinois, It is definitly winter out there. It seems that I always forget just how cold it can get outside at this time. I am personally going stir crazy. I dont go back to school until next week. Between me and the kids we are running out of things to do in the house.    I go in 2 weeks for my test whi*****ludes a upper GI. I am a little nervous bout it. Just the thought of something going down my throat while I am awake. I am sure it will be fine. I am on the count down for my surgery date. 5 1/2 weeks. Did the nervous every calm down as it got closer?  My heart breaks for Kim. She will be in prayers along with her family. Stay warm everyone and have a great day.   Measha

Good Morning , It may be cold, but at least the sun is shining, even if it isn't giving any warm air off.  Its still one day closer to spring. I have been busy with clients this morning, and just got a break. I hope it stays slow for a bit. Tomorrow I get to go to our main office in Rock Falls for some computer training. 2 hours up and 2 hours back. At least the weather should be decent, if not warm. I will be leaving home by 6:45 am. I will have to remember to take a snack with me to eat on the way up there. (And load up the mp3 player.) Chris, I hope you are wrong about more snow and cold, but I know you are right.  Everyone stay warm, and safe. Hugs

Ok I haven't weighed myself today.  I ate bad at lunch (Hot Dog and Fries) and TODAY IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!  I am a huge White Sox fan, and I found out that a family friend (Nick Swisher) just got traded to the Sox!  Next year when I got to games and say hi to him, he will be playing for MY team and I will fit in the seat better.  Oh yeah it is cold out as well.  I know this isn't a sports board, but I am just so stoked!  I just hope my jersey won't be too big by then.

Well, I was up and out the door at 7:30 this morning to go to the 3 hour Post-op class.  While there was some good informaiton the seats were not the most comfortable.  The person who doe the exercise portion of the class got worried when I grimaced.  I had to explain that I had surgery on the 28th and that sometimes when I burb, it still hurts a little.  I saw MichelleC there and she is also doing well.  We both agreed that the clear liquid diet was getting old and we were laughing about how things were going since going home.  After the meeting, my DH and I went to the Commisary (military's version of grocery store) and I got some yogurt, cottage cheese, refried beans, and several cans of hash so I could start my pureed level.   Everyone stay warm.
