Happy New Year Chris and Illinois!
I also scraped my plans for last night and just stayed home, safe and warm. I fell asleep just before midnight but then was up and wide awake at 3 am? What's up with that?
I am spending the day getting ready for my first day of work
. I think I have everything I need. The most challenging was to figure out what to bring for lunch and snacks. I have always had a protein shake for lunch but don't think bringing my Magic Bullet to the office is a good idea
, so I'm having to make some changes, but I have a plan and know it will be fine.
On Thursday I will celebrate my 2 year Surgaversary. I can't believe that the time has gone by so quickly and how different I am from the women who was wheeled in to Alexian Brothers 2 years ago. I always say, it's the day that saved my life.
