Well, we started out about 10 minutes ago to go for Chinese food and decided to come back home. We did not even get a mile away out of our residential area near us and we decided to turn around and go home. We were going super slow approaching a curve and had a hard time slowing down to navigate the turn. I guess that we are getting smarter in our older age and we definately appreciate our lives more now that we have lost weight. There will always be another time that we can go for Chinese. I would rather do that than be hurt in a hospital or layed up with a broken limb. Stay safe everyone. Christine

Our drive home from WI was horrible and scary.  People were just flying down the interstate.  It took us about an hour longer than normal but we are home and Jacob and I decided not to go to Brenda's house tonight anymore.  We made it home safe and that's where we are staying.

We were able to get to the next town and did get there safely to eat.It took us a bit longer, due to a  fender bender ahead of us. But coming home, we had no problems since the plowa were out and most people were giving everyone extra room on the road. Our daughter made it down from Yorkville to join us, and they made it home safely too. Happy New Year

I am so glad you went back home Chris..........It's not good out!   Have you notice that every time it's a holiday or plans for a holiday event....The weather wants to ruin it?  Oh well welcome to the midwest!

Ughhh I hate this weather, came close to not making it in to work yesterday and left early so that I could get home.  The roads were horrible where i live, almost like no one was out plowing but I saw them with my own eyes.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr
