Sunday Roll Call

I am still waiting to get my leak test this morning, and then I can get rid of all the tubes. It is my understanding that I will be going home tomorrow.  Which will be great as the bed here is not comfy.  I am looking forward to having company if anyone would like to visit. So, what is going on in the outside world?  Any special plans for the holiday? Thank you to everyone for their well wishes, it is nice to know that I am loved.

Hey Wendi........So you must be feeling a bit better today! It is so good to here from you!   Did you get a chance to meet Michele?  She had surgery the same day with the same surgeon.....she was going to see if she could find you. (I know big hospital)   So here you are on the losers bench!  You did it!   fight is over now......Congradulations! Hugs

Wendi,  I am so glad you are doing well... I loved being home in my own bed too, it was more restful and peaceful, no one checking me or poking me LOL.... I wish I would have known you were looking for visitors as yesterday I was in Elk Grove my mom lives about a 1/2 mile from the Hospital. I am glad you are doing better.  As for me we have my mom here and I will be going to the gym today and I have my mom here and we will be watching the Bears game. I hope everyone has a great New Years and a safe one too...

I was kind of wondering when you were going for the leak test and I figured that it would be in the morning. I did not want to get there and you be out of the room. I will also have to figure out if Michelle is there at ABMC or if she is at the sister hospital in Hoffman. I can pop in and see her also if she is there in EGV. Just futzing around the house this morning to get ahead of the game before we have our neighborhood party next Saturday. Maybe I will slip out to Target to get some ornament boxes so I can rearrange some of my decorations. Christine

Good Morning Wendi, I know, in the hospital its hurry up and wait. They do whatever they need in thier time. So glad you are feeling better, I would love to come to visit, but being 100 miles from the hospital, has its limitations.  No special plans for the holiday, hubby has to work tomorrow, as do I, so that means he will be in bed by 9. Tuesday, is lay around day. have a few snacks, and make corn beef and cabbage.  Midweek holidays are not good.  You will be home before you know it. Hugs

Yeah!!! no leaks....no more tubes.  I will be taking a shower here in a moment, so I will be nice and clean.  I will also go looking for michelle.  I believe she is here but I dont know where yet

I am going to see if I can figure out what her last name is and then I can ask at the information desk when I come up then you and I can go for a stroll if you feel up to it. Christine

All I can see is that her last name begins with a C, so that really does not help. The nursing staff will not be able to say if she is there or not due to HIPPA laws. I will be nosey while I am there and see if I can scope her out some way shape or form. Christine

Glad you are doing well today Wendi! Hope you get to meet Michelle (I dont know who she is but everyone else said it so...) At the hospital that I am having my surgery at they put all bariatric pt together so maybe that will make it easier to find her if they do the same. Well today I am about to head to church. Tomorrow I attend night service at church. On new years day I will be enjoying my day off. Not much to do, so I will enjoy my family as  this will be my last new years obese. Oh I will also be preparing for surgery thats schedule for the 7th
