Thursday Roll Call

Welcome to a wonderful board full of friendly and helpful people. Congrats on your weight loss so far too, that's great.  I'm Monica and I'm still pre op.  I go for my last supervised nut appt next Thursday and then things will be submitted to my ins.  I am nervous already about that!  lol Please continue to post and share about yourself and your journey.

Thank you Monica, I have gotten that impression while I was just observing, which is why I felt compelled to actually say hi to everyone. As for your journey, I remember that process.  It is nerve wracking, but you will get through it.  If they try and fight you, fight back.  I have known several people who had to fight (for other things) but they (patient won).  you won't have that though, if they are this far along with ya, you will be fine. I am now just wondering if I can lose 1.5 pounds by Monday.  I had an obscene goal (or so I thought) to be below 250 by the end of 2007, I am 1.5 pounds away from that.  So close, but if I don't make it, I came most of the way at least.

Welcome to the Illinois board and just jump right in! I look in on some of the other boards, but this is where the friendliest and most supportive folks are. Good evening everyone, Things are okay here.  I had a wonderful christmas!  Santa was VERY good to me this year!  I e-mailed the lawyer today to ask for any updates and I got a out of the office responce.  I'll try again after the New Year.  This whole thing is sure testing my patience.   My dad gave me a letter this christmas that said all he is wishing for is for me to have my surgery.  I thought that was very sweet!  Something has to give here!  I hope everyone is ready for the snow that we are going to get tomorrow.  I am going to make hand made "thank you" card tomorrow w/ the kids.  Maddie has a whole bunch of thank you's to do!!!  I have tried to instill the importance of apprecation and thank yous after someone  does something nice!  I will keep Wendi in my prayers and everyone else, that they have a good day tomorrow and stay safe! I finally had a kind of quiet day-just a visit from Eddie's PT and when she left he was so bushed he slept all afternoon, so I wasn't running and fetching!  I saw Dr. Rantis Wed. and he is very pleased with me-it was go good to get some positive re-enforcement.  AND I was healed enough to get a fill-YAY!!!!  I can feel the difference.  It was so quick and he was so gentle- it was done in no time.  He has no clue as to why I have such belly pain and clearly doesn't want to pee in some one else's sandbox-so I'm still out there in left field.  But I have a belly button and got a fill so it's all good!  Christmas day was nice-my girls had their fangs covered for the day and  my grandson Nick gave everybody phony lottery cards that looked like the real thing.  Of course they said you won big bucks but on the back it clues you in to the fact that is just worth the paper it's printed on.  He just about busted a gut every time he got some one.  Eddie wasn't up to going w/me so my visit was short as he can't be alone too long.  The high spot of our day was watching our crazy Peke open her gifts-she shakes them until she gets them open.  She had to have her new bandana on right away-she is vain like her mother!  Welcome to the new folks and good  luck to Wendi tomorrow.  Christine-I hope you shake that bug soon.  Big hugs to all-Janet K
