Good Morning Illinois It is a cold drab day today. I want the Sun!!! Wendy will be joining the losers bench tomorrow, It's been a long journey for her, and now she will be starting on another leg. Good Luck tomorrow, and let us know how it went. We will be waiting to hear. I am here at work, not much happening. This week between the holidays is always slow. But, I am not complaining. Good Morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois! We have sun here!!!! but I hear that another storm is coming promising 4-8 inches of snow????  I want Spring! Work here is also slow, so I am using this time to vent my frustration with not losing.  I posted on a couple of other boards looking for any advice, help or just reassurance that I am not at the end of my journey.  I am 14 months out today and on the pity pot.  It is not usually in my nature to be negative, so I am sure this funk will pass, but I had to get it out. Did anyone hear what Christine's doctor had to say?  I am trying very hard to convince my husband to make a visit to his doc for a chest x-ray. I hope everyone is haveing a lovely day!

Good Morning IL! I slept in late today...not sure why, but it feels good.  Now Tyler, Jacob and I are getting ready to play Jacob's new game of Life....and then Electronic Monopoly.  Then Jacob and I are supposed to go to our breeder's house to visit and I need to take pictures of her new puppies for her webpage. Other than that, nothing special going on today I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good afternoon Lisa, Dawn, Monica, and Illinois.......It is a great day for sleeping!   I would like to tell you all that I got a great Christmas present.....I am in onederland!   So happy about that!   haven't seen that for a couple years! I'm almost out the door. My friend Agnes is coming over for a visit at my house. So I am leaving work a little early today. Tomorrow it will be time to shovel snow. YAY!!! Activity points for me.... Hi gang, well here I am at home doing my clear liquid diet and my bowel prep .  I am making lists of things that need to be done today, and making sure that everything is organized (yes, I am anal)...  I am excited and nervous about tomorrow.  My DH and I went to Sweet Tomatoes last night for my last supper.  I had to have a huge salad and a bowl of chili with some foccia bread..  Well to get things done here.  I will have my cell phone with me, so if you want to call just check my surgery page for the number.  I am still needing to find out if they have WIFI this way I can talk to all of my friends here at OH, as I hate watching tv.  Depending on the weather, my DH may have to leave to go and plow snow depending on how much we get.   Everyone have a good day!!!!!!

I am here, just putzing around at work. I went to the doc yesterday and he said that it is just a really bad cold and I was the 4th patient he had seen that day with the same thing. He gave me a script if I do not get better in a couple of days. I filled it and am going to take it anyways even though I feel better today. He also said that he had been reading that this year's colds were going to be bad. My lungs were clear he said after listening to them. I slept for close to 18hours total yesterday in between work, doc apt and getting a couple small meals. I ate lunch today but that is about all, I have no desire to eat nor am I hungry. Chris

Hello fellow Illinois Lap-Banders.  I wasn't sure where I should introduce myself first, but figured this would be the best place.  I have been checking out the boards for a while, but felt compelled to at least say hi. Ok I guess I should say more about me.  I am 34, and a father of one beautiful daughter.  I had my surgery 13 months ago.  (November 20, 2006 is my band-day).  So are I have lost just a hair over 60 pounds in that time and couldn't be happier with my decision. Anything else I need to say to officially introduce myself here?
