Christmas Eve Roll Call
Good morning my fellow Illinois friends! Merry Christmas Eve to you all.
I am working today but will be leaving early. No special plans for me tonight just a couple of errands on the way home. Some last minute wrapping to do.
Tomorrow I'm off to my sister's for Christmas breakfast and my Mom's for Christmas dinner.
I am feeling a lot better since Thursday. I want to thank all of you for your support and reassuring words. The thing I really love here is that no one judges me.
Good news about Janet K. is finally getting a scab over her incision area. Wendi is going to have her surgery on the 28th, Calvin on January 8th....
Love you all! Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Miss Pam! I was in deep trouble and knew it. Things are so much better already. Actually I am just going to the liquor store for my brother in law. He likes European beers so that is what I am getting him.
I just have to hold myself together and get through Christmas Day.
I bet everyone is either sleeping in or busy with the holiday festivities.
Hugs,
Lucy

Merry Christmas Eve Illinoisans! Yes, I slept late today--a treat! Now I have to think about cooking as we celebrate today with our chosen family in Rockford. I've got the meals planned so I can be responsible. Everything is wrapped, the camera is charged and I'll ask someone to take my picture, because my face is thinner now and even I can see it. Have a great day and enjoy the beauty of the season! Connie
Hi Lucy and IL,
Merry Christmas to all of you. I am so glad you are feeling a bit better Lucy. Hang in there, the holidays can be the best of times and the worst of times for people. I hope that everyone has a very happy and healthy holiday.
Being so busy running around and trying to get last minute things done has made me slack off on my water and protein and I am feeling it today. So, it is time for a little me time and then back to the grindstone.
Wendi- you have my best wishes for your surgery on the 28th. You have a Christmas and New Years gift rolled into one.
Joy to the Illinois board!!!
Mary
Good morning Lucy and everyone. I don't post here much at all, but I do tend to lurk around. I just wanted to stop in and wish all of you a very Merry Christmas adn a peaceful year. Lucy, you are doing a great job. I have read what's been going on and I know that at some point, we all face difficulties. You are truly an inspiration to all. You were a tremendous help and support to me when I began my journey. And for that, I will forever hold a special place for you. Be happy, be healthy.
