I'm Home

Boy am I tired!  Things went, just OK.  The prep didn't work as well as they needed and couldn't see everything.  Doc did find one small polyp which he says is probably nothing but is sending out for a biopsy and results will be in in a week. I feel just fine, just tired and am about to go and take a nap.  On the not great side, I will have to repeat the test in a year instead of 5 years as they couldn't do a good test But the sun is shining brightly and I hear that it will even warm up later this week.  So all in all, life is good. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. And thanks for all the well wishes.  They were appreciated.

Hi Ronna. Good to see that you are home and resting. Sorry to hear about your prep not doing the job and cleaning you out all the way. That sucks to have to do it again next year. I've had small polyps removed and they were found to be nothing. Take care! Lucy

Ronna, welcome home and I hope you got some yesterday. I had to go back for another colonoscopy a year later because my GI doc found polyps also. That is SOP for that situation because they want to make sure that they do not come back and develope into a more serious condition. I felt it was a small price to pay to make sure that everything was AOK in that arena. I would not want to get cancer there and then have to wear a bag for the rest of my life, yucky. Chris
