Monday Morning Roll Call
Good Morning Ronna and Illinois!
Ronna, you should be done by now and resting comfortably, I hope.
We had Riley out on Friday night and she is SO fun. She is talking quite a bit now and it is good to be able to communicate with her. She REALLY has her mom wrapped around her little finger! It is SOOOOO funny!
Saturday, in the snow storm, we went to our friend's place and cut the "perfect" Christmas tree. It was a lot of fun, but we had to thaw it out in the heated garage until yesterday when we brought it in for decorating. My haouse is a disaster area now between all the Christmas boxes being out and Olivia and I started our Christmas crafts and they are spread all over the dining table. Oh well, I will get everything cleaned up soon. I DID fond out that the brand new vacuum cleaner that I bought less than a month ago is already broken. The beater bruch does not turn and it has not been picking up very well for a couple of weeks. I guess I will have to return it tomorrow and try again.
Miss Olivia's concert is tonight (postponed from the snow day last Tuesday).
I am really tired of winter, bring on the sunshine and Springtime!!!!
I wish everyone a wonderful day!
Buy a Dyson, you will not be sorry. They have one for just about every price range that you are wanting to spend. Many of them come with attachments. I have never had such a great vacuum with hose attachment that really sucks up wonderfully, it has great suction. I got the DC17 Animal even though we do not have a cat anymore. I cannot say enough for the unit.

Not so good. Not sure if there will be a 3rd. A liter of pop was dropped by me and it fizzed everywhere since he did not put the lid on. i tried to tighten it and it exploded all over me and my kitchen. my dog ate his pizza. i was pissy so it was not good since he was standing there not willing to help me clean until i said something. we will see
Hi Ronna and IL -
Not too much going on here.. I had a dentist cleaning appointment today then stopped at starbucks so I could start staining then up again. Gosh I'm sick. I have the carpet installer here.. OH MY GOSH WHAT AN A$$. If I was not desperate to get the darn carpet layed this week before the holidays I would have kicked the idiot to the curb. I don't think he likes dealing w/ women! The quicker he gets out of here the happier I will be. Luckily I have my painter here otherwise, I don't think I would feel real comfortable being here with him. UGH! As soon as everyone leaves which I hope is soon, I'm heading to Target to see if I can find some new bedding for the spare bedroom. I also need to drop off some dry cleaning and stop at the Hallmark Store and Post Office. I'm getting a really late start. The carpet installer really screwed my day up. He was supposed to be here at 9 and decided to show up at 1. How nice of him to not call. Can you tell I don't like this man?
Oh well, I really need to get over it. LOL
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sorry, I have been a little AWOL since Saturday afternoon. I have been really busy and then I came down with this cold sore throat thingy. I should have really taken today off but I really do not like to leave the other girl in a lerch with one person there facing 3 days of work. So, I just plodded through and got most of what I needed to do done. Now I am going to catch some

while I am waiting for Dave to drive from southern IN. He should just about now be in Champaign facing another 4+ hours of driving. I hate I-57, it is a nasty road.
