Cookbooks??
Dear Gina:
Low carb is a good way to go. Here is a site: http://www.lowcarbcooking.org/index.php
I also get a lot of great recipes from Bariatric Eating.com http://www.beforeandafterchat.com/
Another favorite site is www.recipezaar.com. You can type in "low carb" or "sugar-free" in the seach engine and come up with all kinds of things.
I just copy and paste whatever sounds good and have almost made my own cookbook.
If there is something particular that you are looking for, just ask, maybe I have it!
Gina, the only book I know of (and I am sure there are many more but just have not looked for them) is "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery". I got it on Amazon.com. I like to go on www.sparkpeople.com they have recipes that you can adapt to your WLS lifestyle, exercise info and you can enter in your recipes and it will give you a breakdown of the nutrition. I learned about this later site on the main board of OH. I signed up for some of the daily e-mails.
