Good morning Illinois. I was up bright and early. I did my exercises and then got dressed and shoveled all the snow along my walkway and then the long driveway. I shoveled continuously for 50 minutes, so I burned a lot of calories. YAY!!! The only benefit of snow. I had a nice hot cup of coffee and then went to Walmart and did some shopping, Bought myself the new Led Zepplin CD with all hi****s, some clothes on sale and gifts. Now I'm resting and having my breakfast, a Hazelnut AchievOne protein drink. I am going to do liquids today and see how it goes. I want to be able to go and see Dr. Guske on Thursday with a loss since my weigh in yesterday. Yesterday when I got home, I slid into the main entrance and hit a rock. Today I checked and have some very minor damage to my front fender - scrapped some paint off the fender. It was awful yesterday. I'm so glad that I didn't go to a Christmas party! Stay safe and warm. Hi Lucy - Take it easy girly with all that snow shoveling. Sorry to hear about the car but glad it's not too bad. I have a painter here at the house today painting the kitchen and guest bath. After Christmas he will finish painting the rest of the house but at least my kitchen will be done for Christmas. Yay! carpet is going in tomorrow in Amanda's bedroom and the guest bedroom. I'm thrilled to be able to get this done before the girls get here. I have my eye on some new bedding for the guest bedroom but we shall see if Calvin squawbles too much about spending more money. So my project for today is to remove everything from both bedroom. UGH! Some of the bigger pcs of furniture will have to wait until Calvin gets home from work. Have a great day.. I was sitting in the front family room earlier sipping on some coffee letting the sun beat down on me. It fealt so good. HUGS, Christina

Hi Christina. I'm sitting on my recliner enjoying the warm sun coming in my picture window. It sounds like you've got everything just in place for the holidays. I can't believe it's only about a wee****il Christmas. I am taking it easy for the rest of the day. I'm sure I'll feel the shoveling later. It felt good that I was able to do it. The car isn't bad at all. It's something that I don't have to fix right away. We'll see; I'll probably wait until spring. Hope you are feeling well and your foot is healing too. Take care. Good morning Lucy and Chritina, boy we got alot of snow too here too, but today the sun is shinnig which is what I love. I have been to the store's and I am all done Christmas shopping, Lucy sorry about our car, but as long as you are ok the car can be fixed, Hope everyone has a good week

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Hi Janet. I love to shop! I can always find something. My car isn't in bad shape at all. I only scratched the lower fender in the front of my car. I'll need a paint job but will wait until spring. Hope you have a great Sunday. Enjoy the sunshine. I know that I am. Lucy

Lap Band on 03/02/07

Well not much going on in my world except SNOW about 8 inches of the white stuff. I went shopping yesterday with my youngest daughter. She is done now and I only have DH to get for. He only wants new t-shirts...but they have to come from Sams Club. I did get just in the end of my drive way last night. The snow has drifted the driveway closed all the way around. So I decided to get in enough to just carry in my packages. Well I am heading out to go get a new tree. The duct tape failed me the other tree fell over on Friday eve and I through it in the tra****hink I am getting a table top. Less space and less mess. Lucy glad your car only got a minor booboo. Christina don't ya just love the fresh smell of new paint. We painted the living room before we decorated for Christmas and it just smells so fresh and clean. I think its our favorite room at the moment. Well have a great day Illinois and if you have snow please be careful out there. Karen

We went shopping today and finished up. The work party last night was fun. It's weird to see everyone so dressed up! My plan for the rest of the day is to put my feet up and read!

Happy Sunday Lucy! I've been staying warm and inside. Can't believe all the snow we got. Lucily I have two strong nephews who live with me and I sent them out to clear off the driveway

I'll be spending the day drinking liquids too. Got a couple of bottles of Zero Carb Isopure to make sure that I still get my protein in for the day. That will give me 80 grams which is OK by me. In a few hours I will need to start my "bowel cleanse" for my colonoscopy tomorrow. Happy happy, joy, joy, right?

Any way, I got a new John Grisham novel to keep me company while I spend most of the evening in the bathroom. I just hope I'm able to get some sleep. I need to be at the hospital at 7 tomorrow morning. Can't wait till it's over and done with. Have a great day everyone!
