Dr. Rantis is our sunshine...me & my DH
I have been spending time at hospital with mu DH John. He was rushed to hospital on wed morning with a gallbladder attack. This morning Dr. Rantis did his surgery. He truly is an Angel of mercy. My husband's muscle disease made the surgery much more dangerous then a healthy person. I must say the bed side manner Dr. Rantis has is a blessing to those who have had him.. It was my husbands first time for an operation. Please keep him in your prayers.
Well, I have to say that the first time that I met him I did not like him. He released me from a hernia surgery that Jimmy Jr did on me in 1998 (he was just new to the practice and out of residency at that time). His bedside manner has changed and improved over the years. I have grown to love him also and not because he was Dave's WLS surgeon; it is just that he has grown and improved over the years 1000 fold and that is what happens to a surgeon/doctor over the years of practicing medicine. He is friends with my surgeon and I have grown to love and respect him (Dr Pete, I totally love my doc) over the last several years.

Marilyn, first let me say that I am glad to hear that your hubby is doing good. How scary that must have been.
Second, thanks for the comments on Dr Rantis....he's going to be the one doing my RYN!!! It's so good to hear nice things about him.
Your hubby, John, is in my prayers. When do they think he will be released??
