Saturday Roll Call
Hello to all! The weekend is in full swing, and my husband is working like crazy. This is his busy season doing valet services and snow plowing. I have not heard anything yet about my surgery date, and I am trying not to get my hopes up for the Dec. 26th date. My agenda today is to go out and finish up some of the Christmas shopping. We took up a collection at work for the boss' and I am to buy a digital picture frame for her. I still have to buy my secret santa person her large gift, and still a few odds and ends to be purchased. I also have a hot date with the vaccum cleaner and the mop. I actually don't mind driving in the snow, but it is all the other idiots out there that makes me want to stay home. My DD is also working tonight, and my DS is staying at a friends. Hmmmm, time to myself what to do? I may just work on cleaning out some files, and cleaning out my summer clothes that I know will no longer fit by next season.
Monice, I can truly understand the situation you are in now. The last two Christmases were rough, and we did end up having to file bancruptcy. Think positive, and maybe something will happen. You know that this is a magical time of year.
Well everyone stay warm and dry. They are calling for 2-4" of snow tonight.
Just a tip Wendi,
Keep bugging Bessie at the Kane Center. She is the one who does the surgery schedule and is not real good at follow up.
I actually got a call from the hospital to come in for my preop stuff before I heard from her. The hospital told me my surgery date.
So don't be afraid to bug her. My surgery got pushed to the first week in January cause she draged her feet.
But that worked out well as Chrismas Dinner was my last real meal before starting the pre-op diet with the Impact Recovery shakes. And about those shakes, make sure you get the chocolate. The vanilla flavor is

Ronna
Good evening everyone. I've had a busy evening and day today. Last night, I went to the Kane Center support group meeting and met Ronna. She is such a dear. Afterwards, a group of us went to Panera for coffee and food to chat.
Today I went to weigh****chers to weigh in and yuk, I gained since I was there in November. Then I was off to my sister's for the day. I went grocery shopping before 6 this morning as the snow started.
On my way home, I slid into the main entrance by my house, I hit a rock but it doesn't look like I damaged the front end of my car. It is very slick out there.
This week I will be seeing Dr. Guske to get myself back on track and get on an antidepressant. I really need it. I'm going to do liquids tomorrow and take it from there. Plus up my exercise and stay active.
Hope everyone stays safe tonight. They are calling for more snow. I hate this winter and we have a long way to go!
Hugs,
Lucy
