Okay I actually got an appt for Tuesday the 18th for my actual psych eval...I have to go up to Arlington Heights and hopefully the weather will be good. Someone canceled and they called me to get me in! yay. Now what is the name of that million question test again?? I have to do that she said...lol I also figured since I am up in the area I am going to try to call my gyne and get my annual appt for that taken care of too. He in Alexian Brothers. Then I can talk to him about the bc options after surgery too. I am getting excited that this is moving along quite nicely! lol

Hi Monica. You will do just fine with the psychological testing. It's done on the computer and the same question is repeated a bit different to see if you are telling the truth or lying. It is quite detailed. Hope the weather stays good for your trip. Lucy

Hi there Monica!

The test is something like "MRSP" (although I'm pretty sure that is not correct). But this might help you if you were planning on looking it up. You will do fine......you are no crazier than I am and I passed!!!!

Congratulations on the quick appointment, I anm wishing you good weather. Man.....those few years of almost no winter are sure catching up with us, aren't they!

Monica you'll do just fine. The test is on computer and is long. You will be asked the same questions over and over but in a bit different way. I found that a bit iratating but, oh well. Are you meeting with Dr. Crane? If you, you'll like him. He is a really nice guy. So good luck and as I said you will do fine.

Hey Lucy! I have it on my calendar. Weather permitting, I'll be there. I think they are having a Christmas party. When I was there in October Dr. Crane asked that everyone bring something to pass around. Don't know what I'm bringing yet. I have some sugar free candy that I got for a gift and I can't eat it (don't do sugar alchohols well). Maybe I will bring that so I can get it out of the house.

MMPI and I think it is like a 675 question test of how to ask 15 different ways if you are suicidal etc. LOL

That test could be totally revamp to ask those questions a different way. I guess that they are looking for consistancy. CB

Just so you know, it's not always done on a computer. I had the old read the question in a book and pencil in the scantron form. UGH! It's not really bad just long. You'll do just fine. Christina
