Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning boys and girls of IL! Hopefully all of our members remained safe and sound after the weather the last few days.
Anything special going on with anyone today? I am a little pooped from a function at work yesterday evening. Santa and Mrs Claus arrived via parade through town at about 6ish.
I helped with the food and clean up. After work today I will hit Target for my nieces and nephews Christmas gifts. I will also go to Jewel and get some fixins' for a luncheon that we are having at work on Friday. I am making Chicken Deviled eggs and SF Jello with raspberries and whipped cream.
Talk at ya all later.

Good Morning Chris & IL -
Not much going on here. Just trying to get this foot to heal. I do have an appointment this afternoon w/ the foot surgeon so we shal see how it's doing. It still throbbs if I don't keep it elevated.
The tile is finally finished at my house as of yesterday. I tell ya, it's a good thing I was not paying this guy by the hour but he did do a good job. It just seemed to take a long time. I guess it really did not take as long as it seemed... it was because he was under my feet for a week. If I had been working I'm sure I would not of even noticed the time.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning IL!
I am getting ready to head out to work where I will be very busy from now until next Friday. Then I get to come home and make it through another day in my house....which isn't a very good place for me to be lately. Things aren't good around here.
I have more homework to do and then nothing.....
I hope that everyone is staying safe and warm!

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Hi Chris and all of Illinois!
Sorry that I've been MIA, but after I posted on Monday, I came back to reply to someone and I was a "guest" and could not log in. After a lot of back and forth with support, I seem to have gotten it fixed, but I also stayed home yesterday for a "snow day".
Turned out to be a good thing because I called the furnace people to come check out a strange noise that my furnace was making and it turns out I needed a new one. The heat exchange was cracked in 2 places and the unit was leaking carbon monoxide. We had quite an exciting evening trying to make sure that we got a new furnace right away and hooked up so our pipes (and we) didn't freeze overnight. They are going to finish the job today, and my husband stayed home to meet them.
I'll be catching up on my reading of the posts for the last couple of days here in a bit between work.
Hope you are all having a lovely day!
Good Morning Everyone!
It is a pretty day, if you are looking out a window. Not much here except working, homework, and oh yeah FIGHTING with the insurance company. It is offical, that I am on the war path and they picked the best time of the month to make me mad. Yes, that is right I am PMSing to the hilt. But, as my DH says this is when I do my best arguing and he was surprised I waited this long. I got another call from the insurance company this morning, and they can not figure out who the patient is... Go figure! Um hello, the fax reads "Per our conversation, here is my 5 year weight loss history". Now, if I remember my english correctly the word "my" is first person. My name is on the fax, and the name of the nurse who is handling it is on the fax. Ok, sorry for the vent.
Oh well another day and another dollar......
Hi everyone. The sun is lovely today and the ice on the trees is beautiful even if it isn't good for the trees. My office faces a lovely area that looks like a park--sometimes I have to just sit and look at the beauty.
I have a party tonight with colleagues and I'm glad the weather cooperated because I really wanted to go. I'm saving my protein drink for right before I go so I won't be hungry. I haven't had to face very much of this kind of temptation, but I plan to be OK with it.
