Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts.  We are still trying to save the finger-he has had a PIC line put in and will have 4 weeks of anti-biotic treatment at home. Gout crystals ate away the side of the bone and all the cartilage between the bone of the first two index finger bones and a hole in the flesh from the inside out.  He has a staff infection that is anti-biotic resistant but not MRSA-Thank God.   He was released at 4:30-I took him back at 6.  He stood up to get the dog a treat and we heard this grinding crunching sound and he almost fell over.  His artificial knee has come apart internally and he has to have another surgery today or Monday to fix it.  Suffice to say he would have to cheer up to be suicidal and I am not far behind.  I'd put my head in the oven, but I'd really be pissed if my hair got ruined and I' d have to buried in a cheesy wig so I'm just gonna have to suck it up!  Please continue to pray for us-stay safe and warm this week-end-hugs to all-Janet K FYI-I've lost 2 lbs this week-the food there really sucks!  All I eat is a cup of soup here and there so some thing is being accomplished.    LOL!!!

Janet, I am sitting in my computer chair right know w/ tears in my eyes thinking and saying prayers for you and your family!  You have had such a year.  Between baby Lincoln and your health and now your husbands...next year can ONLY be better.  I say this from the bottom of my heart...if I can do anything to help you out, please let me know!  Please stay strong for yourself and him!  This is a time to lean on friends.  Call me if you want a shoulder to cry on..815-544-1480.  You always put wonderful humor in everything in life....that's what I love about you Janet!  Keep truck'en girl, because one day you will look back on this and say "if I got through that rough time back then, then I can get through anything!"  Please lean on your friends at this bad time and know that I am saying LOTS of prayers for you and hubby! Love, Kim

Janet my friend  ((BIG HUGS)) As you always tell me, you're a tough ole' broad and I know this is just another huge bump in the road.  These challenges are supposed to make us stronger people.  My prayers are w/ you and Eddie and be assured if I can do anything for you I'm here.  I just can't drive so I'm pretty much stuck w/ prayers. Love ya girlie.. Christina
