Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning Sleepyheads!! Time to get up and start the day! Well okay I would probably still be in bed if it weren't for the pooches who have to go potty! LOL Hubby is taking the car in for an oil change and to see what's wrong with my power steering. It makes a funny noise whenever I turn the wheel. Drives fine, but something's not right.
Today I plan on doing some cleaning and more decorating around the house. I also have to do some homework and take my first online test for Anatomy and Physiology. Tonight I will be expecting a phone call from a friend from Memphis who is bringing a puppy to me and then tomorrow I will take him, (Henry) up to West Bend to another friend. I am getting into transports for dogs now. It's such a good feeling. Just pray that the weather holds out for us. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive each way tomorrow. Jacob is coming with me.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Saturday!
Well, actually I have been up since 630, no rest for this lady. I am just sitting here for a few minutes enjoying a scrambled egg and surfing the net.
Have a few things to do before everyone starts coming over for the party. Hopefully the weather will stay away until much later tonight. Need to get moving.

Hey Christine. I know you are always up early and alway busy busy busy! lol I'm sorry but Mike and I won't be able to make it to the party tonight. We couldn't find anyone to watch the kids and also I have to do that transport stuff. I hope that the weather cooperates and that you and everyone have a blast!!!!
Hi Monica,
I used to do Papillon breed rescue....so I know what you mean about the transports....it does give you a good feeling!! While I was the regional coordinator for the group, I placed a bunch of dogs in forever homes. In fact, I am still in contact with most of the people that adopted the pups.
Be careful on the roads!!!! and good luck on your test, too.
xoxo

OMG!!! 6 lbs?!? What kind of dog is he?
I did a LOT of winter transports....if you think of it, a ho****er bottle tucked into a polar fleece blanket is helpful...especially with the little guys cuz they don't retain that body heat. Oh you gotta take pics!!!
Check my profile for the boyz with Santa Claus....my two are 8 lbs and 9 lbs....mostly ears!! ha ha!
Good morning Illinois! I am heading out to go grocery shopping Yuck, I hate doing that. We are to get about 3/4 in of ice over night...Then more off and on through 3 am Monday....So if I want to feed the grandsons its off to the store.....
Christine have fun at your party.
Monicia enjoy your little trip but please be careful, the weather is supposed to get really nasty later in the evening here. I don't mind most of the winter weather I just hate ice......
My left leg really swelled up after the drive home yesterday and it aches so just to get food and back home to put it up.
Christina hope you are feeling better. When do you get the other foot done? I do hope after Christmas so you can enjoy without pain.
Well take care Illinois and stay safe!
