Can anyone tell me if they know of any surgeons who accept medicaid in IL? My dr no longer accepts it and my friend is really needing it.

Look at the firt post in this forum. There are a few listed there.In addition to those there are some in Springfield,Il and St louis but from what I hear theres a long wait for those.
University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) accepts medicaid for gastric bypass and Mercy Hospital in Chicago on Michigan Ave accepts medicaid for Lap-Band.
