Support in Rockford

There are a number of us in Rockford who are patients of Drs. Garren and Gould in Madison. We are thinking of starting a support group here, at least occasionally and it wouldn't have to be just for us, but for anyone who lives close enough to Rockford to come. It's just an idea at this point, but maybe by January we'll have an idea of people are interested. Let me know. Connie

Connie, what a great idea for you folks that are in the Rockford area. There are a few people on the board that are in that area and over the next couple of weeks you should get some responses. What I would suggest is that you post this idea a couple of times because this board has a tendancy to have a lot of postings on it and this will get lost on the 2nd, 3rd etc pages, you get the picture.  Christine

Good Morning Connie! You are the first person that I've "met" in this area that had their surgery at UW. I would LOVE to find a support group closer to home.  I like their group, but I can't always get up there. I DO know that there is a group that meets on the last Monday of each month at OSF/St. Anthony's medical office in front of Tumbleweeds at 6:30, but I have not managed to get over there either, although I keep meaning to attend. Put me on your list of interested parties and let me know how it turns out.  Thanks!
