Please let me know if youve tried this
Im having trouble with getting my protien in im no where close to what I need and the shakes make me gag.
Baratric eating has a capachino/coffee flavored. Please let me know if youve had this and how it is and can you taste the protein in it?
Id like to order sometonight but wanted some opinions first. Thanks.
I've tried the Achieve One coffe flavored protein drinks from Bariatric Eating and it's really good. But when I was a new postop I used the Zero Carb Isopure in the premixed bottles to help get in the protein. It has 40grams in a 20oz bottle. Comes in lots of flavors, but I would mix it with Crystal Light lemonade and it was really easy to get down. Just sip, sip , sip all day long. You can get them at GNC or at Vitamine Shoppe. Pretty pricey though. That was the only down side.
Regards and hugs,

HI there!!!!
I'm not sure which one you are talking about.......the Nectar Cappucino, or the IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate in Cappucinno.
I LOVE them both, but they are VERY Different.
The Nectar is more like real coffee in that is is "clear" not creamy. It is very much like cold coffee (if you make it cold, you can also have it warm). It is not exactly like cold coffe in that it is also flavored, but I really LOVE it. Is this the one with the caffeine? Is it a lot of caffeine? I know that it is made with real coffee.
The IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate is AWESOME also, but VERY CREAMY. This is also good both cold and hot. Cold, it tastes more like a "shake", or frozen "frappacino".
The other coffe flavored one that I got from Bariatric eating was also really good-----it is made by PVL and called Arctic Cappucino Frappe---this is AWESOME blended with jus****er and Ice.
Actually, I never use milk, jus****er with all of my proteins and I love them.
I have found the IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate to be the creamiest in all the flavors that I've tried. The Belgian Chocolate tastes just like chocolate milk to me (mixed with water, of course).
Please let me know which of these has caffeine, I am curious now. I thought that I had not had any caffeine in over a year.........
Oh, sorry.......I have not tried those. They are a bit expensive for my budget.
The other ones I was telling you about are all in powder form, but less expensive.
Another trick for making them taste better is adding the sugar free (daVinci) syrups.
My favorite right now is adding Sugar Free/Cafeine Free International Coffee to my powder. I usually only use 2 teaspoons which only adds about 17 calories.
