Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinois!!! We had a good appointment with David's doctor yesterday.  We are learning some new techniques in child raising.  We took my husband out for Chinese for his birthday then he had a Scout meeting after we got home. I had a heck of a time getting up this morning......the bed was SO nice and warm, but I DID it.  It is supposed to be frigid all day, then start snowing again this afternoon.  I hope it is not too bad, both kids have activities tonight. Saying lots of prayers for our members and their families that need them.  (and don't we ALL need them?)  Janet K and Eddie, Christina's sister, Jenn's husband, Wendi for a quick approval, etc...... I was glad to see some new posters on yesterday's call.  We will be thinking of Zandra on Monday and we have another friend from right here in Rockford who also has my surgeon!  How cool is THAT!!!! Everyone have a lovely day!

Good Morning Dawn and IL, Yes it is very cold this morning -3 here, I did stay in bed until amost 8, it was just too warm and I did not want to get up either, But Hey the sun is out now, but the snow is coming again, , Stay safe tonight going out on the roads Dawn , hope everyone has a good day,

Good morning Dawn and IL board,  I am NOT looking forward to shoveling more snow. I over-did things yesterday and have bad shoulder pain again....so much for the improvement I was getting. I wanted to stay in bed all day today, but there's work to be done...dogs to feed, laundry, etc. Hopefully we won't get hit too badly with snow over the weekend....I have that 8K walk on Sunday...but it looks like I may be walking in slushy conditions.  That's ok...I'm sure I will enjoy the end of race hot cocoa even more than I thought. I hope everyone stays safe out there on the roads if they have to be out driving. Warm thoughts to everyone! Paula

Be careful with the shoulder------book more massage!!!!!  lol I am very lucky.......I have a 6 foot tall, 245 lb., 14 year old son who just LOVES to run the snow blower!  When I got home yesterday, he had done a wonderful job clearing off the driveway and walks.  Let's hope that he continues to love it as it looks like he will be getting plenty of chances..... Take care of yourself and don't do too much!

Good Morning everyone! My husband got a call to work for the day helping someone move! Praise God! We will take this one day at a time. God has always provided for us and taken care of us we need to continue to keep the faith even when it looks scary! I am praying for all of you as well I think of you all daily... Good morning! What is this weather?! I love snow but not arctic temperatures! I am doing well with the band. Had a fill Tuesday and not feeling any restriction so far. I know people say it can take up to four weeks to feel it. My nurse practitioner said she hadn't heard that. I might have the second fill in two weeks. I'd really like to sail through the holidays. Hello! I had my 1 month check up yesterday and I'm down 32 pounds! :) It was also my anniversary so the DH and I took the kids and met another family at my favorite Mexican restaurant. I was very nervous, it was the first time eating out since surgery and I didn't want to over-do it. I ordered off the kids menu and split with my 2 year old and still had lots of leftovers! But I felt full - it was wonderful!! Mendy

Hello IL -

I've been taking it easy today..  Really easy.  Tonight is LifeWeigh's holiday get together so I'm hoping to break out of here for a little bit.  I have not left the house since Saturday and I'm going bonkers.  Of course w/ this weather, I have no business going out.  The tile seems to be going down much slower then I anticipated.  They just packed up for the day and told me they would be spending the entire weekend with me.  Oh yippee.  I really need a break but I want them to finish so I'm glad they are working over the weekend.

I talked to my sister this mornng.  She haa a follow-up appointment w/ her surgeon today and was hoping to get the drainage tubes out.  She said she's having some tinglng in her arm so she needs to talk to him about that too.  She said she can raise her arm 1/2 way up.  Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

Hi to Illinois,  I am still here at work, just taking a bit of me time , and will be heading home in a few. It is still not snowing, but I can bet the Rockford area gets it first.  Nothing going on n my world, except i will agree with Dawn and Janet H, I did not want to leave the blankets this morning and over slept about an hour. I did not have time to wash the hair or anything else today :(  Hope everyone stays warm and safe tonight. Hugs,  Lisa
